The STAFF was top notch and eager to please. The establishment leaves a lot to be desired. The balcony was very small with no wiggle room. The walls are very thin, you hear everything going on. If you're charging 400 to 500 dollars a night, I expect a lot more than what was delivered. Again, they got great people working for them, make them proud to work there.

There don’t seem to be many hotels on Folly Beach, mostly air bnbs so options are limited. Tides is a decent hotel but could offer and do more. -A shuttle service to/from the airport and Charleston would be nice. -Recognizing special occasions like birthdays would be nice. -No shower caps available in the room. -Housekeeping does the bare minimum. There was water on the bathroom sink before I left and still there when I returned after housekeeping had come through. They left a cup of water out, basic things that other hotels would have cleaned up. -I like the different flavors of water each afternoon. -The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Nice room comfy bed. Odd situation with bathroom sink hot water. It wouldn’t get warm unless shower was also turned on. The girl at reception listened and then said “how odd”. We agreed it was. As we were checking out we don’t know if or how it was resolved

I love that everything was so close and convenient. The staff was extremely helpful. Really great time driving so I got in early in my room was ready and available. There was an issue with the elevator being broken. It was currently being worked on. Everyone was lovely and trying to be patient with the situation I will definitely be back
