Secluded log home - perfect for a romantic weekend getaway! Vaulted ceilings with exposed beams wrapped in Edison lights and furnished with rustic wood. Hot tub, fire pit, wood-burning fire place, porch swing, satelite tv and dvd player. Sleeps four, in two queen beds with two full baths. Well-equipped kitchen. Pet friendly (2 pet limit with $50+tax pet fee).
INCLUDED All of the Chalets include: a scenic setting; outdoor hot-tub; fireplace, grill and firepit; kitchen with cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils and tableware; satellite tv with dvd player; bed, bath and kitchen linens; bath soap and a supply of dish soap; toilet paper and trash bags; access to the Chalets Resort pool at the Chalets Old Man's Cave location; central air conditioning and heat.
SITE Wooded location at the end of a long gravel driveway shared by Chalets cabin called Pioneer. Four wheel drive required in winter conditions. Closest park is Conkles Hollow - 2 miles, a 5-minute drive. So these cabins are considered to be part of the Chalets Conkles Hollow location. Old Man's Cave is a 10-15 minute drive along some of the most scenic roads of the region. The Chalets Old Man's Cave location with office, pool and SaunaPods is a 20 minute drive.
SIMILAR If you like this cabin's location and layout, you will like its neighbors Pioneer (4) and Timber Ridge (4), which is just up the road. Bigger versions of this style are Oak Ridge (8), Sycamore (8) and Dogwood (12). [HCRN-00172]

It was close to activities very nice and quiet. Only complaints I had was when you open the door it smelt like old cigarettes in the cabin, the whole time and we are non-smokers and I found a dirty wet towel in the silverware drawer

Beautiful Cabin & Area

We loved the cabin & the area - beautiful, clean and very secluded. The hot tub and porch swing were two favorites! Our biggest challenge in the Hocking Hills area was lack of WiFi and internet. GPS did not work for most of the trip so would suggest researching where to eat, etc. and screenshotting directions before arriving. We used the pool one day at the main Chalets location which was very nice. (Call for directions- it’s about a 10 minute drive.) We loved all our hikes but a favorite was Old Man’s Cave - gorgeous. Would definitely stay again!

Amish Life

If you’re comfortable without internet, tv, or dishwasher
 this could be your place. We did not know they got rid of cable until an hour before check in. They claimed there was a dvd player, but there was no remote for tv and movies at the main building which closed at 7pm. Only had bare essentials... Bedding, towels, toilet paper, and a few dishes, but no paper towels. Grill is open but no cover, so if raining it’s not really useable. It rained the entire time so it would have been nice to have something to do while drying out. The driveway back is intimidating, recommend 4 wheel drive only. We were concerned it would wash the drive out and we would get stuck. Overall it was just okay.

This was our first time staying in Hocking Hills! It was beautiful place! Awesome view and great beds. I highly recommend. Clean and easy to get to the trails. My kids loved it too. Well water is the only complaint. The smell was bad.

My boyfriend and I had a very stressful week and a half leading up to our stay. Getting away to your to your cabin is just what we needed. We truly need to just get out of town and relax. That's what the cabin and your property did for us 100% made us feel relaxed, safe and stress free. Thank you so much for letting stay in this beautiful cabin. I highly recommend it to anyone. Everything was perfect right down to the person who helped us make sure we had the right room. That man needs a raise lol I approve it
