Last minute booking and was surprised to find such an affordable property nearly adjacent to a public beach access. It appeared to be an old property, but also much larger than most of the same chain. A bit noisy outside late at night, but the room was quiet and clean. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. It’s a good, affordable option for a place to sleep overnight and/or a quick trip to the beach

They checked me in early which was very helpful. The pool and landscaping are very nice. There is plenty of shopping and food in walking distance. Public beach access is very close, an easy walk. The beds weren't very comfortable.

They kicked us out of the room 15 mins after checking in. I booked a kitchenette and they gave me a dirty room with no fridge or microwave. They said the people that were living next door with like 6 people in it said we were being loud and we had to leave. We were not at all. It was 9pm on a Saturday night.

My stay was for six days. No issues until Friday morning when I found two German cockroaches at the AC unit in my room. They offered to move me to a new room, but I declined, as I was checking out the next morning. No offer of any percentage of refund due to cockroach activity. Overall, staff was nice and understanding of my frustration. Five minute walk to the beach, food and activities close by. Pool was clean. Not a lot of noise from other tenants.

Would not allow me to check in. Worker was new and said he didn’t know what he was doing and how I could pay the $20 fee in person and none of his bosses would answer the phone. So he cancelled my stay. I had 2 young children in my car and we had drove 16 hrs straight and wanted to rest our head for a night. A night I paid for. I wasn’t allowed to check in. Unbelievable.

Did not get the room we paid for ahead of time. Roaches in our room. Tried to force us to leave a great review in order to get more than one mini shampoo for our family of 4. All i can say is get what you pay for its cheap for a reason half of the building looks like its long term rentals and druggies everywhere only stayed for one night to catch a cruise it was clean no bugs i saw but definitely not the place to be with all the rough people around

Reserved two rooms. Arrived had to wait at the front desk for a while because reception was in the laundry room and couldn't hear anybody at the front. Receptionist was very nice and apologetic though. I didn't have any room for next to each other which was an inconvenience but oh well that's life. The first room we got was fine our second room was a nightmare. First of all the door was broken so we couldn't enter receptionist checked with her master key and indeed the door wouldn't open so they gave us another room. That room stunk to high heaven of nasty seawater and fish I swear somebody had been cleaning what they caught that day in the hotel room. Third room first thing we noticed was roaches, not palmetto bugs but cockroaches. After killing the seventh one we got another room. Our fourth room the door opened, it didn't smell and there were no bugs so we were able to stay the night. I guess it's really hit or miss as to what room you get as for it being acceptable for a motel 6. It's motel 6 after all so you can't expect a lot but I think you can expect for it not to be infested or stink.
