"Love this hotel close to Tren Maya station and airport; room very comfortable; shower great; love the free shuttle to airport; fantastic economical price; most employees exceptionally friendly; biggest disappointment was deferred maintenance of poolside furniture; limited food selection on menu (all American items- where’s the Mexican food?) and quality of food we ordered not so great in the restaurant. The AC was turned up so much that the restaurant was freezing- all tables outside were filled because it was warmer out there. We will stay here again. The gym is exceptional. The pool is one of the nicest we’ve seen at this price point. We really appreciated the hard working waiters and shuttle driver. "

"Consistently bothered to upgrade with inconsistent prices. Everyone we worked with from the lobby to the staff was confused and took an absurd amount of time to get help. Many places were closed with no notice when up and running. Beach was horrific. Paid 150 a night to upgrade ocean view and it was a partial view and covered by trees. Wedding held right out our room was going until midnight "

"This was our second stay at Moon Palace, and we noticed the food quality has dipped since our last visit eight years ago. While we appreciated the membership team sticking to their 90 minute limit, the vendors in the lobby were a different story. A day before checkout, we were approached by very pushy staff selling discounted coupons. I understand they have a job to do, but they need to respect guests' boundaries and accept 'no' for an answer."
