Asked for resort fee to be waived because I didn't intend to use any resort facilities. Reception lied to me and said that the resort fee covered parking and Internet access. The E-mail I received from the property clearly stated that parking was complimentary and that the resort fee covered golf balls, bottles of water, lobby coffee and business/fitness centre - none of which I used. Won't ever go back.

The staff were the best part. They were kind and courteous. The outside deck was lovely and coffee in the morning with the sunlight through the trees was just the ticket. But the rest was lackluster. Lovely robe, but no slippers. Great shower products, no q-tips. Beautiful jacuzzi; it was dirty with no additional towels. Full kitchen, with dirty cup rings on the counter. Double sided gas fireplace but did not flame, and was just a pilot light. It lacked sparkle. The food service was great and the restaurant staff were just lovely.

The cottage was new and clean but we couldn't find any dishcloths or tea towels in the unit. I send text messages to the number at the front desk that texted me when we checked it to ask how everything was, and never received a response to any of my text messages. We asked for no housekeeping and they came anyway. It was quite noisy with the road right next to the unit.
