The room was very clean, the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast room was surprising in the fact that it was so varied and the food was delicious. The woman tending the breakfast room was very nice and extremely helpful. We most definitely would stay here again.

Overall the stay was decent, however the manager when we first checked in was rude and not being very understanding, however he did help us figure it out eventually and then there was no issue. The stay was good, breakfast was good except the eggs and then when we left they were accusing us of smoking in the room because we rolled out smoke before taking it outside. My friend almost didn't get her deposit back and we were just not impressed with the accusations, as we are respectful people and would never smoke in the room.

Convenient location for the East side of Courtenay and easy to find, close to a major road. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Front desk staff were fantastic. They were checking in a basketball team when I arrived and they were quick and efficient with them and then again with myself. Later in the evening, I witnessed a guest was having a medical emergency and staff were very helpful calling an ambulance and assisting the guest until help arrived. Well done. Small but clean pool area, nice gym. I rated 4 stars as there was no hot tub and, like most chain hotels with a breakfast, it was extremely salty (I actually ended up going somewhere else to eat). I would stay here again for the location, cleanliness and friendly staff though.

Clean, friendly staff, comfy beds, nice rooms, great breakfast! We will stay here again, for sure. Only dropping a star due to the pool being out of commission while we were there. It was the reason we booked this hotel over some other options so was quite a disappointment.
