Updated Historical apartment close to a park and two blocks from the best dining
This is the best of both worlds. A quiet place to stay, yet within a short walk to many attractions including a riverfront park with over 80 miles of biking and hiking trails along the rivers. Take a short walk to great restaurants and exciting nightlife. Welcome to the Baird House in the Oregon Historical District in Dayton, Ohio. This is a friendly, walkable historic district with a great selection of restaurants and clubs within walking distance. There is a map of the District in the photos for the listing.
We really enjoyed our stay, and everything was set up well. There was even a patio to sit at in the evening. We walked to a fancy restaurant in the neighborhood and had a fantastic dinner.
The apartment is beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. It is very homely with all the plants and terrariums. The location was great for all we wanted to do and street parking was always easy. Would unhesitatingly stay here again if we plan another visit to Dayton.
We loved the historic neighborhood and the close proximity to restaurants and bars two blocks away. The apartment was filled with comfortable seating and many interesting plants. The courtyard was delightfully cool and quiet. We d certainly stay again!
This was a perfect place to stay for our trip to see my daughter graduate from University of Dayton, I'm my opinion a lot better than the near by hotels, was easy to go to the Oregon district for meals and local parks were a good place to hang out between events.
This was a fantastic stay. We were in town for a conference at the Dayton Convention Center - we were able to walk every day to save on parking (about a 10 minute walk). The house is clean and in a safe and quiet area. It is also convenient to the highway to get to Fairborn or Beavercreek where there's every restaurant imaginable. We would definitely stay here again if/when we are back in town.
a roll away bed/cot would be a great addition, or sleeper chair, and larger trash can in kitchen if staying longer and cooking- otherwise cute place and will stay again if son goes to school nearby- thank you!
Friend and myself were came to Dayton the night before our board exams so we didnt have to drive in the morning and we had a very nice, quiet evening. Check in and out was easy and would stay again if ever in Dayton.
I had a wonderful visit! The property was very clean. I had a little bit of trouble finding the place in the dark, but I think that was just because I was tired would definitely recommend staying here!
The apartment smelled clean and fresh the moment we opened the front door. We loved the plants, art decor and modern vibe to the unit. The bed was comfy, the building quiet and allowed for a wonderful nightâs rest. We were able to walk to Oregon District which was a great bonus. The neighborhood is beautiful. A definite stay again in the future. Thank you!
If you need an affordable trip with tons of things to do, this is a great place to stay. Tons of great restaurants and activities all in walking distances. Clean and comfy for a night in too. Only con we experienced is an extremely soft mattress but thatâs subjective and doesnât affect ta perfect 10/10 rating.
