The room was clean and the building, while older, was well maintained considering it's right next to the ocean. The breakfast was solid and slightly different the two days we stayed there. The four different staff members we had to interact with and they were all friendly and helpful, and when we needed something they immediately responded. Overall I thought it was good value for the money, especially because we were there on a NASCAR weekend when the prices in the Daytona area can be much higher than normal.

The staff was very friendly and prompt. The hotel has gone through a makeover. There are some new updates and some things are still old. Our door we had to basically break in every day because it was stuck. The AC was not working when we got there. A fuse had blown, and we had to keep resetting it.

Room 521 was nice, only problem was that house keeping only left one wash cloth in the bathroom and forgot to take out the trash that was underneath the kitchen cabinet. Breakfast was great. Pancakes, eggs, ham, sausage links, yogurt machine, fruit, and other items.

The property is not bad, it’s alright. It’s nice that it’s right by the beach. You can’t use their phone if you need assistance, no such thing as front desk or housekeeping. When we check out at dawn, the lady working just asked if we were checking out but did not let us in. She took our names and closed the door. We stood outside waiting. She came back and gave our receipt outside of the door. Weirdest check-out ever.
