There was security 24 hours around the hotel. Upon arrival you received a welcome bag. They had a tiki bar by the pool and both bartenders were very friendly. The hotel is right on the beach. The cleaning staff did not come to the room every day to give you new bath towels or make up the beds. We had to track them down to get them. We also had not been told that you could get beach towels from the front desk when we checked in. Communication could be better. There is only one small elevator. There is an excellent restaurant across the street for hamburgers or chicken strips or sandwiches

Loved the view. The rooms should be updated. The floor of the elevator had a hole in the wood so a rug was thrown over it. The elevator smelled bad. It could be a really nice place if the owners took better care to details

So, I booked the wrong date the 16th instead of the 26th and didn't realize until I received this review request. I had to rebook for the 26th and NEVER STAYED at the hotel. If someone from the hotel reads this and can help me with a refund or even a partial refund that would be great. I realize it was my own fault. Hopefully on the 26th my stay will be 5 stars.
