Find a cheap Hotel in Dois Portos

"Location near the Metro station (airport line) and a Pingo Doce was great. Hand written door access code is a poor choice especially if the guy checking you in has poor hand writing (his words, not mine). Had to return to the front desk and he rewrote the codes for door and wifi. Why not email or WhatsApp the numbers, not like travellers don't have access. "

"Rooms and bathrooms are small but clean and comfortable. The air conditioning did not work in our room, which was pretty terrible early June. Thankfully my kids had the connecting room with working air conditioning, so I was able to sleep there (my older daughter and my husband are less sensitive to heat). We opened the connecting door so they were able to get some cool air that way too. No compensation was offered for the non working air conditioning by staff in the morning. The restaurant inside the hotel has good food and good service. The shuttle is a nice touch, it was timely and the driver was friendly. We did not get the bagged breakfast that was offered and we asked for, but I guess that happens. There is a shoe store next door to the hotel (accessible from the hotel) with good selection and good prices for leather shoes."
