Room was cold on arrival- heater was not working. I had to change the settings on the heater to get it to work. Dinner was poor. I had the feather blade of beef (which I have at every Maldron) The vegetables were lukewarm - it was a far cry from any other feather blade from other Maldron hotels. I did let the server know. It’s not a hotel I would enjoy staying at again. I’m a fan of Maldron, and regularly stay at Maldron Cork and Belfast.

My room was not available until 5pm, despite being told three times a room was ready then given to someone else. The room wasn't clean when we arrived, the bathroom was not clean at all. Very poor service. We travel to the area several times per year and I will not be keen to stay again

An extra almost €40 was sneakily tried to be added to my bill. At first I was told I had no outstanding balance but when I said I did and he double checked someone had charged drinks to my room, probably the same person who woke me up twice in the night trying to enter my room.

Great room, good amenities, if your into sports you can't get closer to tallaught stadium then this. Don't recommend if you plan on staying here for Dublin tourism. It's too out of the way.

Good location and nice hotel. Would stay again. Couple of small negatives - restaurant service on match day was suspended - there is no room temperature control and room was particularly cold - bar closed early at 22:40.

We stayed for 5 days on the first day i asked why we did not have a coffee machine, slipers and robes as per the booking. I was told they are short staffed and they would bring them to the room. The next day nothing arrived. Then on day 3 i had to ask for our room to be cleaned and i was told they are backed up.. im sorry but thats not my problem. My girlfriend had to go into the store room to get more towels and tea, milk etc as nothing was done by the staff. On day 4 we wanted to use room sevice to order a pizza. The menu in the room said till 7am. When i phoned to order i was told they are not doing room service as its closed.. ive stayed in many hotels in Dublin as me and my partner are long distance and it was the worst by far. The room was nice the pool and gym was nice but the service was terrible.. do not stay here.. there are many better options

2 week business trip. First few days, i had some issues with cleaning but this was sorted by the front desk. Good food selection. Staff were amazing. Good location overall.

Gross hotel!

We did not have a balcony view. We had a room that was worse than a college dorm room. It was very outdated, uncomfortable bed, dirty floors and very loud. The staff greeted me with a "did you check in online" and when I said no, he was annoyed. We had been driving all day, and I did not have service! I do not recommend this hotel and being a travel advisor, I will not send my clients here.

Easy improvements

Rooms were ideal and clean, staff were all very friendly which I personally think is very important. The breakfast was good but the restaurant food was pretty poor. Overall it's an easy enough fix to make it a better rating.
