We arrived the day of "No King's Day"...the next day, Sunday Morning the Kitchen Staff were having a loud very rude conversation against the sitting POTUS. This hotel was a favorite of mine until this incident. I will take my business elsewhere during future stays in Fargo.

The room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good for the adults and had several hot and cold options. The pastries were surprisingly fresh and delicious and well portioned (small) so you could enjoy one without over-indulging. Two complaints: another reviewer commented on the beds being uncomfortable and I'd agree. If you have lower back or hip issues, you might hurt in the morning like I did. It was a rough night's sleep for that reason. Also, at night, the water drained in the shower, but it did not in the morning. That is always so unpleasant.

We were unable to make our first night and they still charged us for it even though their motel was half empty. The room even though it was clean looked like it’s out of a 1970s motel. We were told there was no housekeeping the night we did make it, and they showed up unannounced the next afternoon on my husband. The gal who serviced us on check-in was very very, very rude. Customer service is something that isn’t taught at her age.

Love the big rooms and the fact that while we were sleeping, kids could be out in the living area watching TV. Huge bathroom, full refridgerator and a stove top are a plus. Pool and hot tub were nice after traveling, although the chlorine was a bit strong once we turned the hot tub on.Breakfast was excellent, lots of variety. Applebees right next door, NDSU close by. Recommend highly and will definitely stay here again,

The property itself was nice, clean, etc, no issues with the property location or the presentation of the room. The only issue I had was the staff that checked me in would not allow me to change to the same type of room on a different floor, even though they confirmed they had availability. I didn’t feel comfortable staying on the ground floor. There was a window in the ground floor room with direct street access, which I did not want. The Associate said they would have to charge me for a 2nd room, just to switch floors. This was terrible service in my opinion.
