Brand New! Restoration Retreat
Summary:
Welcome to Restoration Retreat! This home is the perfect refuge for you to get refreshed, recharged and reconnected. With ample space, thoughtful touches, and a cozy atmosphere makes this home an ideal refuge or base camp for all of your adventures.
This is not just a bare bones place to stay, it is a home away from home. It is a place that is inviting and crafted for your comfort and one we know you will make cherished memories in. Welcome home!
The Space:
We crafted a space for you that will invite you to relax, unwind and reconnect. We believe in making a place that feels like home and has all the comforts associated with it.
The kitchen is well stocked with a counter that is perfect for gathering around or serving. The kitchen window looks out over the field behind the house with a gorgeous view of the mountains beyond it. There is ample room around the dining room table to enjoy a meal, play some board games together or just share stories about the days adventures.
The large master bedroom is furnished with a comfy king bed. There is a internet connected TV and a dresser and desk, making a private refuge that you can retreat too. There is a large walk in closet that can hold all of your luggage out of sight to keep the room more peaceful. The closet is also large enough to set up a port-a-crib in and makes for a quiet sanctuary for little ones to sleep without being disturbed.
The queen bedroom is elegant and comfortable and a perfect place for either a second couple or a very lucky individual. There is a closet and a desk for a computer or to write at as inspiration strikes. There are thick blackout curtains if you want haven to sleep late in, or open the curtains to frame the sunrise as it peaks over the mountains.
The third bedroom has a single bed that would be delight for anyone as well as a bunk bed that is suitable for kids to have their own fun and comfortable space to get refreshed. There is a dresser and a closet with toys available.
There is a protected side yard that has a propane fire pit and seating to sit at as you watch the sun set over the mountains. There is a grill and a table so you can enjoy the beauty around you as you get nourished and refreshed for another day of making wonderful memories together!
Guest Access:
The whole front house is dedicated to your comfort. There is a secluded side yard as well as a half acre of front yard with plenty of parking and space to toss a frisbee or play basketball or just sit in the porch swings and take in the peaceful surroundings. There is a Villa in the back part of the house that has a separate driveway, yard and entrance and may be booked separately.
The Neighborhood:
We are located just outside of town in a quite, semi-rural area. The road is paved until our street, so you will have to drive .1 miles on a maintained dirt road, just to give you a small taste of the classic country life. Each lot is a minimum of 2 acres and the views are breathtaking.
Getting Around:
Flagstaff has a growing Uber community, but having a car of your own will help you visit all the sights. There is a favorite park of ours that is within walking distance, about one mile away. Downtown is about a 15 min drive, so everything is close.
Other Things to Note:
The Restoration Retreat is located in a peaceful neighborhood with amazing views. All houses are on 2 acre lots so there is plenty of space and all of the neighbors are dear friends. There is a maintained dirt road leading up to the house and a circle gravel drive in front of the house. Please stay on the gravel if there is rain or snow. The garage is available to park in, which is an added bonus in chilly weather.

Interaction with Guests:
We have lived in Flagstaff since 2010 and love it dearly. If you have any questions or want any local tips or suggestions we are more than happy to share what we know to help make your trip extra special. We have moved further away but we have friends in the area, an amazing cleaning team, and wonderful neighbors if anything needs to be addressed immediately.
What a wonderful stay! We were in town for a wedding and were able to come home and relax in between all of the activities. Felt comfortable like home, but was decorated so well it felt like vacation. We were surprised that there was a unit on the back of the house being rented at the same time - we could hear them from time to time. It was very private, just surprised us. A lovely home and weâd definitely stay here again!
Wonderful and accommodating. Tiny adjustment, as the coffee maker took 20 minutes to make a pot, and you have to giggle the decanter every 3 or 4 minutes to get it to continue brewing.
Decor wonderful, beds were fantastic. Josh was a sweetheart. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
