This four bedroom home is located in Via dei Benci allowing guests close access to some of Florence’s most famous sites. During the day explore all Florence has to offer from exquisite Renaissance art and architecture, including Michelangelo’s “David” and the Duomo. In the evening enjoy local cuisine at one of several fine dining restaurants or quaint cafes, or stay in for a home cooked meal.



The home offers the convenience of staying at a hotel combined with the comforts of home. We have designed the space to compliment local architecture giving guest a true Italian experience. The home features high wood beamed ceilings and plush furnishings throughout.



Master bedroom: This room features a large king size bed and sitting area. The room is furnished to provide guest with a private and relaxing space.



2nd Bedroom: The space has a king size bed, additional seating, and a window seat.



3rd Bedroom: This bedroom has a queen bed with classic décor.



4th Bedroom: A perfect room for children or two adults. The space has two twin size beds and a window seat.



Living Room: The living room features an ornate fireplace, TV, and plenty of seating for the whole group.



Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen provides guest with high quality appliances and utensils.



Dining: There are two dining areas. The formal dining area creates an atmosphere of comfort and refinement, while the informal gives guest a more authentic experience.



Bathrooms: The home has three bathrooms. The largest features a glass enclosed shower with waterfall shower head. All bathrooms are tiled and basic toiletries and linens are provided.

Our palace in Florence is a perfect holiday retreat for large groups or families wanting to have a true Italian experience.

Ideally located within walking distance of all the sites we wanted to see in Florence. No vehicle needed. The accommodations were clean, spacious and relaxing.

Stay in a castle!

Staying here makes you feel like a local. What a great large space to recharge while in Florence. Could not be located any better, once you get there. Florence is a walking city so steps up to the apartment should be anticipated. Has some quirks being an historical property but worth it.

Perfect Florence location, large airy flat

Place was great, better than advertised. Big double bedrooms, easy check-in and probably most convenient street in Florence. As others noted, it is across the street from Red Garter, a popular American bar that goes very late. If you open the windows, noise will go on until 5am or so. Didn’t bother us and thought it was a fantastic stay, but might not suggest for families with younger children.

Gorgeous Spot

What a beautiful apartment! We were two families of four and the space was perfect for us. It’s a perfect set up and great location in terms of proximity to all that Florence has to offer. As mentioned in other reviews, there is a bar on street level that does get quite loud in the middle of the night. We solved it with the ear plugs provided by host and white noise. We really did enjoy our stay here! Host was very responsive and helpful through the entire process.

Great location, but so loud

This property is a two minute walk to Santa Croce and the bridge lookout of Ponte Vecchio, so a great location. However, the accommodations are very basic (no lift to the third floor, an okay kitchen (no microwave), small bathrooms) and it was SO loud during the night. There is a bar downstairs directly beneath the three bedrooms that is open until 4am…and it must be popular. I’d recommend bringing AirPods.

Large apartment in great location in historic building

The location of the apartment was terrific. Walkable to everything. It was very well kept, large, and in an 800 year old historic building in Santa Croce. Very charming, maintaining historic features. Lots of steps. There is a tiny elevator ( really for one person only). We would definitely stay there again, though. The Red Garter Bar and Restaurant across the street has really good food when you’re ready for a great burger and drinks after days of pasta and other traditional Italian delights. There is a late night disco there as well, so bring your white noisemakers and ear plugs for a good nights sleep( the bedroom by the kitchen is quiet) Wonderful stay for a retired couple, their daughter and husband and our two college aged grandchildren. Check in a little cumbersome but host was responsive right away.

Great Place but the Noise is Loud

Overall we liked our stay but the noise in the first bedroom from the Red Garter is really very loud. The place was very large and had ample space for the seven of us who stayed there. Beds were comfortable and the apartment had some nice decor. I would say that the place needs just a little TLC to be amazing. The place was beginning to get a little run down with furniture getting a little wobbly and hooks in bedrooms coming off the walls. That all said, the biggest issue though is the noise. It is loud but really wasn't a big issue except for folks in first bedroom. If the owners could just noise proof that one window, I think it would make a huge difference.
