We had a great one-night stay at Hotel Nuova Italia. The hotel is very close to the train station, the Duomo, and David. This is ideal for those who visit Florenced mainly for these attractions or are just looking for short-term accommodations in basic rooms. Breakfast is included and fresh food is served. Coffee is made fresh and upon request. For the price, it is a good place to be.

First floor is dungeon with no lighting. Bathroom is the smallest a human could fit. Everything anise the room from tables to lights to bathroom fixtures are from 19th century. Ok for college students but strictly avoid if you are traveling with family. Pictures on Hotels.com site are totally misleading. This is an ancient poetry in need of remodel. Only plus is the location.
