the Hostel is about an hour walk from the city centre and also accessable by bus 11. Quite far to be going up and down a few times a day. Otherwise clean, but no wifi in the rooms and no aircon/fan.

Not worth your money!

This place is not worth it! Do not scrim here! You end up paying extra to be apart of the hostel association. Our room had black mold growing in it, the location is good because it was directly in front of a bus that takes you straight to the city center, but the wifi was terrible, and the room was disgusting.

Hostel is a refugee asylum

So the hostel is being used as a shelter to house people from africa and pakistan seeking asylum in italy. The refugees get rough loud in the food. They tend to play their music loud on their phones-never heard of earphones. They also use the wifi to stream music and videos, so the wifi never works. The hostel is far away fron the city center as well.

Ostello Villa Camerata

Hostel on the sidelines but well connected to the city center with buses. The rooms are small, the beds are old furniture as well. If someone like me is going to visit poto and not sit in the hostel is value for money is ideal.

Guess I didn't know it was a youth hostel surprise. The Girls bathroom was a floor down. Don't be fooled by the exterior.

One night in boot camp

If you want to remember your student life and boot camps, go to this hotel. It was noisy and the blankets were smelling strange. The access road is not in the best condition. I would use it again only if forced.

Very clean and nice area

This hostel was very good, the room was clean and area was nice too. Location was bit far from city center, but there is bus which goes there so it wasn't an big issue. It was bargain for this price.

My stay at the hostel

It was a nice place to stay at. The wifi is free but it can be a hit or miss when it comes to connectivity. It's a good stay but not good if you're far from the city center of Florence. Take public transportation to get to the main center of Florence. Nice neighborhood though.

Only stay there if you're on a budget

It's ok for what you pay I guess. The problem is that it is well hidden in the woods and besides the sign at the entrance there are no more indication afterwards. So you just walk and walk and walk until you arrive at reception pretty sweaty :) When I got to my dormitory and opened the door the first thing I saw was the dust on the floor, seconf was my very vintage duvet :( Breakfast is really poor. I know it's a hostel but serving bread with jam only is kinda...Anyway it is ok if you're on a budget

Too Far from Center & 10 Min walk up a steep hill

The hotel is on beautiful land. Ask to stay in a room overlooking the inner court. NO WIFI, they offer service in the lobby, but it drops often. They should offer wifi in the rooms or a better service in the lobby. What you do not fully understand is....when you arrive after taking a 25 minute bus from the main station in Florence...you then have a 10 minute walk up a steep hill with you luggage. I DID GET EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM SUZANNE....she was great! Helped me a lot. They should at least offer a shuttle from the street to the hotel. The bathrooms showers are poorly maintained. A lot of mold and scum on the shower walls. Smelly. Plenty of children stay here with families. They also rent the place out for parties. It is a beautiful property, but the time and money you spend to get there isn't worth it. Find a place closer to the city.

Awalk in the woods

This place used to be a monestary. It is located at the outskirts of town on a hill . You walk thru the woods up hill for about 1/2 kilometer and the place is beautiful. The real disadvantage is there was a steady stream of buses loaded with noisy students. Lots of horseplay

Lovely setting though remote.

Very nice place with helpful and friendly staff. There were a number of high school field trips booked during my stay so to avoid the noise you may want to not book during spring break. Again the setting is very nice, surrounded by vineyards and forests but the walk into town takes about 45 minutes.

El peor hotel

El hotel se encuentra muy lejos del centro de Florencia aunque hay un camión que te deja cerca, sin embargo, tienes que caminar alrededor de 8 minutos en una calle totalmente sola, oscura y horrible. Reservamos una habitación doble y lo que recibimos fue una habitación con dos literas sin cobijas y sumamente sucias al igual que toda la habitación. Los baños a pesar de que son grandes se comparten con una infinidad de personas porque este lugar más bien parece una residencia. El desayuno pésimo, preferimos ni siquiera comerlo. Cero recomendable.
