Amazing location, casually a 5 minute walk to everything major in Florence. The apartment itself was so nice and clean, and had everything we could have needed; extra sheets, pots & pans, full kitchen with oven and dishwasher and even a laundry machine and dryer! It was super convenient with easy access, host was super nice.

The location is ideal, if you want to explore the city center (and major attractions) on foot. The suite is clean, all appliances working. The building is 500+ years old, which is charming. Some reviewers point out the noisy environment, and this is true - so if you are particularly sensitive to the noise from the street, beware. However, l imagine any downtown location would be the same. Note to the management: I suggest you not to use the plugged in scented oil dispenser. Too strong smell.

I loved the area everything was walkable and the santa maria novella cathedral was just a 5min walk. If you have young children, it might be a little loud overnight but otherwise was a very clean and nice place with lots of great food options near by including RetroBottega right across from the place! Thanks!

Check in was a horror because it was supposed to be on what's App but that was never mentioned anywhere. Once we advised we wanted a 3 pm check in, email communications said the info would be relayed. The greeter arrived at nearly 4 pm and barely acknowledged us. He gave us the wi-fi booklet, told us to leave the key on the table when we checked out. When we asked about the AC and washer/dryer, he said it was self-explanatory. It was not. The AC was broken , the hallway was filthy and there was a dead roach in the bathroom. The apartment was clean and sufficiently stocked. The bed was comfortable and I didn't see any other insects. It was nice having a washer/dryer. Without AC, we had to leave the windows open and it is a very noisy location. People yelling just below the windows until the wee hours of the morning and street cleaning and garbage collections starting at 6 am. Also, the instructions say to take out the garbage but it doesn't say where it has to be taken which is several blocks away. If communications improve ,the AC get repaired and the hallway gets cleaned, it could be a nice place to stay if you are not a light sleeper.

Property is clean and the suite was large with laundry which is nice however: 1. The neighborhood is surrounded by some odd people including scammers, and rowdy teenagers 2. Noise is easily passed from unit to unit and is very disruptive
