Welcome to Islay Folly on Folly Beach! Only a few blocks from the beach and 1/2 mile from Center Street, our home offers easy access to all the excitement of Folly but also an oasis of calm. The house is new and designed for guests who treasure time together but may also desire a way to spread out -- to tuck in some work, crack open a favorite novel, or start a puzzle.

Four spacious bedrooms sleep 10 people; 3.5 baths, and large living spaces, both inside and out, provide a space for everyone. Located on a cul-de-sac and with a large yard, the house offers lots of play areas for kids, 2 driveways and large carport, full-length open front porch, large screened in back porch, back deck, gas grill, outdoor shower -- plus all the indoor amenities to make your vacation one of comfort and ease.

Public beach accesses are a 10-minute walk. The golf cart is available as an option to be rented at the home, which you may enjoy to travel to the beach and around the island. After a fun day at the beach, take a stroll down to Center Street for dinner and drinks. A 20-minute drive brings you to downtown Charleston with all the history, tours, art, theater, museums, and world-class shops and restaurants that showcase the best of the Low Country.

The house was built in 2018. Its open floor plan invites family and friends to spend time together cooking, eating, playing games, watching a movie...enjoying company of friends and family. The table seats 8-10 with additional seating at the counter next to it. The screen porch table is seats 10; the table on the open deck seats 4 more. The huge peninsula is perfect for group cooking; the 6-burner gas range and 2 ovens allow you to prepare favorite menu items at the same time. The kitchen is fully stocked. Add lots of cabinet space for your supplies, abundant prep space, 2 sinks and disposals - you have everything you need to enjoy meals at the beach.

Two large couches in the living room offer hours of fun with a large flat-screen TV and entertainment center. The large en suite master bedroom on the 1st floor includes a walk-in closet, access to the screened in porch, and a full bathroom with double sinks in the long vanity, private toilet room, and roomy walk-in shower. The 1st floor laundry room makes it easy to keep up.

The 2nd floor common space beckons those who desire a place for solo activity. Work, read, reflect at the desk, in a chair, on the deck or settle into 1 of the 3 bedrooms. Bedroom on the right is perfect for kids or a family with a full-size bed and bunk beds. The middle bedroom has one queen. The right and middle bedrooms share the full bathroom that is accessible from the hall. The huge left bedroom acts as a secondary master with 1 king bed, love seat, and en suite full bathroom. Fresh, new high-quality linens and bath towels are provided for the maximum occupancy of the home.

Free parking for 4 vehicles in the garage and driveway. Fresh linens and towels are provided for the maximum occupancy of the home. Check-in is 4:00pm and check out is 10:00am. Uber and Lyft are very scarce on the island, please plan your transportation accordingly.

Amenities include free WIFI, smart TV with basic cable, washer dryer, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, central heat and air conditioning, 24-hour emergency on-call staff. Home is non-smoking and please NO smoking anywhere on the property. Home is non pet-friendly, and no events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. **HOUSE SUPPLIES**
This property is managed by a property management group. We provide a complimentary starter amenity kit to get you settled. Guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed during their stay.
Two rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, 1 dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels in the kitchen. Each bathroom will have 2 toilet paper rolls and at least 1 bar of soap. Full bathrooms additionally include kits with travel size products: 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 lotion bottle, and 2 makeup wipes.
