The room was in very clean. Bright and very spacious with a microwave. Dish washer. Coffee maker and a fridge with an ice maker. It also had a good size desk. The “shuttle bus” is really a car they send once you land and call them. We didn’t know this. We bumped into another guest who said she waited 45 minutes for the car to pick her up at the airport.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Marriott in Fort Lauderdale. Having a suite with a kitchenette and full-sized fridge made a short stay so much easier and more comfortable. The location was excellent—close to the airport and convenient to get around the area. A highlight was New Year’s Eve: we had an incredible view of fireworks lighting up all across Fort Lauderdale, which was such a memorable experience. We also loved seeing the Hard Rock guitar lit up at night from our room. Breakfast was nice to have and convenient, though the variety was a bit limited. The waffles were delicious, but the eggs were not our favourite and the hash browns were a bit mushy. The coffee was extremely strong and hard to drink; however, we really appreciated that non-dairy milk options were available, as many hotels do not offer that. We were hoping to use the pool, but it was a bit too cold. A heated pool or an indoor option would have made it even better. Overall, a great stay and a place we’d definitely consider again.

Not worth the price. I could have ignored the missing towels and soap in our room, and the overpriced understocked “convenience “ store, BUT..Natural gas was leaking from a pipe leading to the outdoor waiting area for ground transportation and my entire group got sick she two days later we are still coughing and nauseous. Way to ruin our cruise.
