just as described

cabin was exactly as i expected the view was stunning host was top tier we had some minor things to report and host was very kind and willing to have someone out immediately we were not effected and chose to wait there were quite a few bees very common for spring time the couch down stairs tuns into a giant bed bonus so we all ended up sleeping on the same floor the inclosed porch is actually the mountain view i thought it was the opposite the porch was off the kitchen only down side was that it wasnt clearly marked luckily i mapped it out before the trip because gps actually takes you past the drive way

Disappointment

The property itself was lovely but What we were not happy about started on night 1. On night one, we heard noises in the ceiling. As my husband does wildlife removal for a living, he recognized the sound - something was living in the space between the ceiling and floor. He assumed it was a squirrel and the next day we contacted whoever is the host. A few hours later they responded and over the course of the entire afternoon, we discussed options, which included having someone come and trap the animal while we were there so we could actually sleep at night. We didnt hear again from them until 2 days later. When they did contact us back, they informed us the HOA would not let anyone trap while we were there, so we just had to deal with it. They offered to help find other housing for us, but there was no guarantee or info and it sounded terrible after being there for 4 days already and traveling with our 1 year old. If we had been informed of the HOA rules when we contacted them, we would have just found our own housing earlier, but we were too far into our trip when they finally got back to us. My husband kept an eye on it, saw rats run in and out of the openings but never into the house. Vacation with rats was not our goal. Hopefully the issue is taken care of, but the host is not helpful or understanding - we were told to deal with it if we didnt want to move and we were not compensated for the situation. Be aware - if things go wrong, there is no help or support.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

Great spot. Go with expectations of a moutain cabin, not a resort. Beautiful views. Great hot tub. I would have given a 4.5 for cleanliness if that was an option. Also need more trashbags, towels - and curtains on windows. Enjoyed the arcade, sunrises and deer watching.

Awesome cabin

My family and I absolutely loved it. Very peaceful location with an awesome view! My son stayed in the game room because he loved it so much. I liked the fact that it was only a 20-30 minute drive from attractions. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!

Beautiful Spot.

This property is so beautiful, the view is everything. It was a peaceful, secluded stay. The hot tub overlooking the mountains was the perfect relaxing spot, after a day of hiking or walking around Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I love how we were in the middle of both spots for adventures! The cabin does need more towels, especially with showering and hot tub, so make sure to bring your own towels if they don’t supply more. Also, more garbage bags would have been nice to have on hand. It could also use a deeper clean, especially the upstairs bathroom. Overall it was a perfect stay, I would recommend.

If we could have stayed longer we would have! Our view was better in person then the pictures show! Very quiet and clean! Hot tub was hot and clean! Bathrooms were clean! Our beds were queen size, soft, but a little small to 2 tall people. Frame was not attached to head boards so if moves when u set on it. We stayed for 4 nights. Enjoyed every minute. Only suggestions I would have would be maybe an actual fire pit. Leaving some extra towels and wash rags. And a couple extra trash bags never hurt. We had to go out and buy some. The driveway is kind of steep to get to the cabin. Almost need four-wheel drive to get up at.

Exactly what we wanted more than we expected.

The perfect feeling of seclusion. The most beautiful views in the morning, the evening and at night. Never a feeling of being crowded, just complete.serenity. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful and relaxing then this is the place. We would love to stay here again without hesitation.

Will not be staying at this place again.

We had booked this place for the view in the hot tub. When we got there the hot tub was not on it was ice cold and dirty. Had stuff in it and not ready to use. I took a picture and sent it to whoever was the person talking to us. They told us someone would be out to clean it the next day. Never heard anything from them again until when we checked out. That they were unable to come and clean it out or do anything. So we payed almost 600.00 for a hot tub with a view and they refund us 41.00 which I think is absolutely crazy. And I don’t feel that they made this right at all. I would not recommend staying here.

Property had many updates with plenty of amenities. Property manager always responded promptly when messaged. There was some water damage in the kitchen ceiling that needs to be fixed and the down stairs shower had a hot water issue or than that it was the perfect place an secluded.

Great weekend with friends

We had a lovely stay at the cabin and would recommend it. The location was so beautiful with great views. The house was great for our group of four friends. We loved the hot tub, stayed up too reliving our childhood trying to beat levels on Super Mario, and made great meals that we are together. The cabin had everything we needed and was a great home base for our weekend activities going hiking in the Great Smokey Mountains and Dollywood.

Charming Smoky Mountains Cabin

We arrived after dark so was a bit hard to find. When you pull into the driveway it's a little bumpy there is another house there, so you need to pay attention or have it lit a little more to pull into the right driveway or get there before dark lol.Once we found it we had no problems checking in and getting in our Cabin. Once morning came, we were able to see just how nice it really was! Beautiful view from the Hot Tub!! All the amenities you can ask for including a washer and dryer which was nice to have. Super clean and welcoming! Nice screened in porch too! We loved it and would highly recommend for the price!!!!

Perfect for Couples Trip

Rustic get away

The cabin is in a beautiful spot. The view overlooking then landscape was peaceful. It was in a quiet spot and provided a feeling that you were alone, without people next to you. The cabin its self is older but thats okay. The beds were a little soft for my liking (I'm a big man)(There should be a king size bed). The kitchen had everything you need for cooking. The ceiling needed some repair from water damage. The upstairs couch could use a good shampooing. And some of the work done in the cabin had a DIY feel but was acceptable. But these are issues Ive seen else where at other places. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The hot tub worked and was used daily. The hot water worked and the water pressure was good. Depending on when you come, it may be good to bring some spider spray (remember you're in the woods). Overall, it was a nice stay. I had a good time and loved the peace and quiet that was provided. I went walking everyday for numerous miles and found a walking trail a few miles away. The location is not far from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I would recommend this to a friend.

Against my boyfriends suggestion I decided to look past the bad reviews and take a chance on this place. Unfortunately, the prior reviews were true. We got there after a 7+ hour drive and couldn’t wait to climb into the hot tub and make s’mores on the fire pit. Only to find that the hot tub had very little water and was not in proper working order. He gave me a long list of steps to try to get the hot tub to work. He stated that after we got it working it would only take an hour to warm up. To our surprise it went up 2 degrees in 1 hour and 8 hours total to get up to a decent temperature. Again, first night we went to go make s’mores only to find out that we were left with an empty propane tank. The same night there was a significant leak in the kitchen where the ceiling was caved in. We put a bowl down and cleaned up the mess. I had contacted prior to ensure that everything would be in working order and I was assured that everything was good to go. One day may not seem like a big deal for things to not be in working order, but when you’re trip is shorter one day is a lot and a lot of money. We finally got the hot tub work and someone came out to refill our propane. We are thankful for that. However a measly $12.10 refund is kind of a slap in the face for everything we endured on our first evening. Beautiful views, but obviously they’ve had problems prior and continue to do so. Would not stay again or recommend.

Never again

We were not told that hot tub was broken until the start of our vacation. We received a call when we were only hours again from arriving to the cabin, when we were asked permission to allow technicians to install a new hot tub the next day. What choice did we have, since getting into the hot tub was a highlight for our destination and a reason we chose this cabin. Lost half our booked time without it. We were given false promises by the owner to get a small compensation for our inconvenience and their trickery. Now, owner is just giving me the run around and continues to lie about giving us that said compensation. Place was disgustingly dirty, 1st flr bedroom smells as if an old person slept there for years. Towels had stains and pubic hairs. Living room couch was disgusting and we refuse to sit on it. Missing tv remotes, fire pit was not working either and was told we needed to provide our own propane for it. Needs a serious deep cleaning and more honesty with how they advertise this cabin. Warning! Stay away from this horrible and disgusting place! Management lies and sucks big time. Horrible experience!!!

No hot tub. Our fire pit.

My hot tub never got up to a hot temperature my whole stay. The the electric fire pit didn't work. All the Lil extras just wasnt up to par. The location was nice had a great view. My girlfriend and i were upset that we didn't get to really use the hot tub and that was one of the biggest reasons we chose that place was the lil extras that didn't work. So she was disappointed from the beginning witch kinda made rest of the trip go down hill. It would've be nice if the place was as advertised. The state was beautful just disappointed in were we chose to stay. Tried to to get a hold of manager to help he said he would send grounds person to fix it. No one ever showed up to fix the problem.
