Cable did not work, shower tub would not drain, fire alarm would not stop beeping, and outside of our balcony the top roof was trashed with large amounts of garbage! Breakfast was Ice cold, and the property reeked of cigarettes!! Please do NOT waste your precious vacation on this property! We stay in Gatlinburg twice a year… this was a lesson learned! Never Again!!

Everything you want

My wife and I enjoyed this location 6 yearscago with a couple of our grandchildren. This latest trip was a chance for us to get away on our own and enjoy some down time. With it being in downtown Gatlinburg, you can easily walk wherever you want. There's plenty to do if you're traveling with children or if it's just a couple's trip, you can take your pick of activities. You can certainly drive back to Pigeon Forge easily if you want to visit The Island but for my money and the ease of walking, Gatlinburg and the Edgewater Hotel is the place to stay. Every dtaff member we encountered was pleasant and didn't ignore us. We always choose a room that overlooks the Little Pigeon River that flows below and with a view of downtown. The balcony is small but 2 people can sit out and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or even people watch throughput the day. Every time we go, this is wherevwe stay.
