Our beautifully updated three-level cabin gives everyone space to spread out while offering inviting places to gather together. Enjoy a private hot tub, rooftop deck, theater room, two arcade games, and a peaceful location in Gatlinburg's Arts and Crafts District. Best of all, you're just minutes from downtown while surrounded by the beauty of the Smokies.

We're a Mississippi family who fell in love with the Smokies, and we're excited to share a little Magnolia State hospitality with you.

Our location truly offers the best of both worlds. Spend the day exploring downtown Gatlinburg, riding mountain coasters, hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or browsing the unique shops throughout the Arts and Crafts District. Then return to the cabin to unwind away from the crowds.

You'll be:
• 10–12 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg
• 20–25 minutes from Pigeon Forge
• 20–25 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Sugarlands entrance)
• Less than 10 minutes from beautiful Greenbrier, one of our favorite hidden gems in the Smokies

Mills Park is within walking distance and offers a playground, picnic areas, walking trails, disc golf, and a Gatlinburg trolley stop. The nearby Gatlinburg Community Center features an indoor swimming pool, bowling alley, and fitness center, all available to guests for a small daily fee.

Gather for movie night in the theater room featuring an oversized sectional, cozy electric fireplace, and a 75-inch TV. One of our favorite places to unwind is on one of our deck spaces. Start your morning with a cup of coffee while the mountains wake up around you, or end the day on our rooftop observation deck beneath a sky full of stars. With very little light pollution, it's the perfect spot for stargazing, quiet conversation, or simply soaking in the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

Whether it's your first trip to Gatlinburg or your tenth, we hope Magnolia Bear Hideaway becomes a place your family returns to year after year.

Great quiet area and easy to get to the main roads without frustration. There is back roads that are curvy mountainous roads....but, there are much easier access points too! Good amenities, great roof top view and comfortable beds. Host provides excellent communication and we had zero issues with anything!

This was perfect for our family of 5. Location was great for being out of the "city" and in nature but still close enough it didn't take forever to get anywhere. We loved the observation deck! The cabin was clean and stocked with just about everything we needed. The host was vert responsive and quick to answer any question I had prior to or during the trip.

Wonderful Cabin for a Family Getaway

We had an incredible stay at this cabin! The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to do but still peaceful and secluded. The cabin itself was spotless and exactly as advertised. It was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great getaway. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing retreat in a fantastic location! Would definitely stay again.

Cabin was in a great location with peaceful surroundings. The rooftop deck was great to star gaze and some additional privacy. Inside, the rooms were all nice. Plenty of living space for the six of us. Close proximity to Gatlinburg made it easy.

Wonderful cabin

We loved our stay at this cabin! It was extremely clean, beds extremely comfortable, had plenty of room for my large family, and perfect location. We were in town for a tournament at the Rocky Top Sports World and it took us less than 5 min to get there from the cabin. Would definitely stay there again.

Quiet getaway

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful quiet mountain home. The outside patios were lovely and the house was very clean and comfortable. Our kids loved the basement setup. It was a convenient location to downtown Gatlinburg too.

The property was quiet and peaceful. The cabin was lovely and just perfect for what we needed. The location was close to the grocery store, restaurants, and downtown Gatlinburg and also a very short drive to Pigeon Forge. The host was accessible and communication was superb.

Fall getaway

We had a great time. I really like the extra touches with the fall decorations. The hot tub was perfect. We went to cades cove and hike laurel falls. It was super busy in town so was really nice coming back to the house to relax. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Quiet getaway

We had a wonderful week in Gatlinburg! The goal was a quiet getaway to meet up with family. We got exactly that at the cabin. It was also easily within 30 minutes of other attractions that we were able to take advantage of! The owners were incredibly responsive to any questions or needs we had. Wonderful stay!

Spring Break 2025

We loved our stay at Magnolia Den! The kitchen was very well stocked, which is not usually the case with vacation rentals. Our kids had a great time in the basement with the arcade and board games. The ability to sign in to our streaming accounts and having the TV automatically sign us out at checkout was great. Everything exceeded our expectations.
