We had an amazing stay in this beautiful and spacious mountain cabin! It was simply perfect in every way. The property and surroundings were breathtaking, and the amenities were outstanding. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit every night. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided—they even had bags for disposing of cooking oil!Our hosts were friendly, helpful, and gracious from booking through check-in and check-out. They checked in with us via messaging to make sure we had everything we needed, answered questions promptly, and even provided fishing tips for the lake and kayaks.During our stay, we took a short drive to Gatlinburg, hiked 14 miles, and explored local shops. The access road to the cabin is a “real” road and was easily manageable in a sedan, unlike some other cabins in the area.Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. My family and I feel truly blessed to have had such a wonderful and memorable experience, and we can’t wait to visit again!

We loved our stay. The cabin is very clean. They had a great coffee bar setup. They provided a way to brew pots and they had a Keurig as well. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything was spotless. The bed rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. There is a wall mounted fire place in every bed room. We loved the gas fireplace in the living room. We didn’t get to enjoy the water much but we did love the setup. There are many steep stairs to get to the water but that assisted in our exercise. Tommy the owner I communicated with was so great! He responded very quickly to any questions I had. The instructions for check in and check out and reminders during your stay were very informative and helpful. There were individual instructions provided for various things in the cabin with videos even. The cabin is close to many places such as Dollywood and Pigeon Forge as well as Gatlinburg. The road to Pigeon Forge is a small 2 lane mountain road but there was hardly any traffic taking that route! We would and may definitely stay here again!

We had such a great time! The hosts were incredible! We had an issue with the HVAC the first time and the hosts were immediately responsive and had the issue fixed that night. The cabin was clean and had lots of provided items such as coffee stations. The roads were well maintained and the cabin was easy to get to. Not to mention it was so close to Gatlinburg. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at this cabin in the Smoky Mountains near Gatlinburg. The location was quiet and peaceful, offering a true escape into nature while still being convenient to town. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed, and the real Christmas tree was such a thoughtful touch that made our holiday stay feel extra special. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the scenery, and get away from the crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

We’d like to throw out the rating system of 1 to 5 and give Tom and Shelly a 50! We have stayed at many cabins over the past years, and nothing compares to our experience at Mirror Lake Lodge. We had great communication prior to our trip, and we arrived at the cabin to find a welcome note along with food to get us settled in. Wow! All the personal amenities were over the top. We could tell that Shelly and Tom wanted us to have EVERYTHING we needed during our stay. We had fluffy robes, coffee bars in the rooms, toothbrushes, etc… The cabin was very clean, well-stocked, cozy, and tastefully decorated. The view was beautiful, looking down on Mirror Lake. The lake provided HOURS of entertainment for the adults and children alike. Our three-year-old and seven-year-old grandkids caught enough crappies and bluegills for a fish dinner. They fished in the rowboat at the property and also on the dock. In the evenings, we enjoyed sitting in the hot tub on the second story deck and then sipping hot cocoa and playing games. We also enjoyed playing cornhole on the third story deck. We cannot begin to say enough about the attentiveness of our hosts. When we texted with questions, we were answered immediately. When we asked for more towels, they were delivered promptly. We left the cabin feeling like we had made new friends with Tom and Shelly. They seemed genuinely concerned that we were catching fish and having a good time. We WILL be back. Thanks Tom and Shelly!

The cabin was exactly as described and pictured! We really loved the location as it’s super close to the arts & crafts area and both pigeon forge and Gatlinburg were just 15 minutes each way. We were able to catch (and release) numerous brim and one baby catfish in the lake! The owners were communicating entire trip to ensure we had what we needed and on standby if an issue arose. Really appreciated the clean homey feel of the cabin. Great trip and would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Clean & quiet

Nice, well-maintained home nestled in the woods. Owner is excellent with communication and answered any questions immediately. We found a lot to do just at the cabin but it is also located in a great area with access to town. The fishing experience is a bit tricky as the shore is steep and rocky - especially for children. We spent a day fishing and caught mostly the bottom of the lake but also one small smallmouth bass. It was a beautiful setting and certainly relaxing. Thanks again to such great hosts!

A Great Place

We had a small family group with a couple of teens stay for a couple of nice in the early Spring. We really enjoyed the cabin and everything it offered. Lake view and breeze were amazing. Our youngest teen took the kayak out to fish both days (5 fish on the first day, 0 the second). We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. We especially appreciated all the small things from the owner such as kayak, fishing gear, board games, corn hole, Keurig and regular coffee pot and comfy bedding and towels. Extra points for videos instructions for the gas fireplace and hot tub. A couple of notes on the place on mobility. The cabin is on the side of a steep hill. Great view, but the driveway is very steep, but you do get used to it after the first time. Also the lake walls are very steep as well. It takes at least two people to get a kayak in or out of the water, but worth it.
