This quiet single family farm house built in the 1900s is located at 9189 Jonestown road Grantville, PA. 17028 which is 10 minutes from Hershey attractions. 3 bedrooms, 2 bath (50 gallon hot water heater) with a large subway kitchen. 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds. Spacious living room with 2 couches and a large TV. Quiet separate sitting room. Outside there is a Tiki Bar, gas grill and horseshoe pits. Fenced in front yard available to enjoy. Basic cable and Wi-fi is available. Smoking outside only. No pets.

Check in is at 3pm and check out is 11am.

Homeowner is close by if anything would be needed.

6 miles from Hersheypark, Chocolate World, and Tanger outlets. Rose gardens. Zoo America . Giant center concerts. Hershey stadium concerts.2 miles to Hollywood Casino and Penn National Race Course. This house is the perfect size and location for our annual family Thanksgiving trip. Everything was exceptional from the easy check in to the simple check out to the responsiveness to questions we had - which was much appreciated. We look forward to our next stay!

This is a real nice property out in the country! There is plenty of room for your whole family with all of the amenities of home! If you are looking for a quiet getaway, I would recommend staying here!

Location good About 15 to 20 minutes from Hershey except in heavy traffic. Didn’t love or hate the farmhouse. For the reasonable cost it was ok. Floors were uneven and different levels into rooms so was cautious not to trip. We had rented for 3 nights but decided to leave after 2 nights and head home.

Farm house was cool. Old. Well set up. Kitchen was good. Had extras like laundry soap/ washerdryer. Kitchen soap. Recycling needs. Door was open and ready for us to arrive. AC was on and cool. Beds were ok, not great. Mattresses hard and had plastic covers. Sheets not well fitted. Place was close to parks, grocery, restaurants.

The property was exceptionally clean! It's an older house with a nice charm about it. The cleanliness made all the difference. The beds are a little hard but comfortable enough for a few nights. We were in town for a family birthday so we didn't spend a lot of time there but the yard was very cute. We would stay again.

This vacation was one of the best we’ve had thanks to our host Mike and his great house. Perfect location to Hershey Park!! The house was clean and comfortable. The fenced in yard with grill and fire pit was perfect after a long day at the park. We all agreed we would definitely go back again!!!

My first time

This was the first time I chose to stay at a VRBO. It was more relaxing than at a hotel. By ourselves a hotel is fine. But meeting with friends the VRBO allowed a home atmosphere and comfortable visiting that a hotel can not offer.

Convenient to Lacrosse tournaments

The location was ideal for travel between our daughter’s lax tourney at Nothern Lebanon H.S., visits to downtown Hershey and to Harrisburg.The property is in a very quiet and rural neighborhood. The home is a very interesting layout with an old farmhouse feel. We would rent again.

Quaint House, Great Yard, Perfect Location

This is an older farmhouse but has everything our family of 4 adults needed to be cozy, comfortable, and close to family for the holidays. Everything was clean and in good working order. Mike, the host, was responsive with good instructions and communication. Highly recommend!

Great Host and Location!

Mike was a great host with outstanding communication throughout our stay! If looking for a larger place to stay while taking advantage of Hershey’s main attractions, this is an excellent choice. 10 mins to park with no traffic, and a nice farm house for lodging. 5 of us had plenty of space. We would stay again!

Great place, great location, great owner!

I stayed at this property for two nights in June 2024 (Father's Day weekend). I was there with my daughter and her girlfriend, both 18. We came to town to go to Hersheypark and see Stevie Nicks in concert at Hersheypark Stadium. Unfortunately, the concert was cancelled due to an illness in the band. When the owner (Mike) heard about the cancellation, he texted me to tell me he was sorry and that he'd give us an extra night at the house for no charge if we wanted to stay! We didn't end up taking him up on that offer, but it was so kind!! The house is in a great location, a ~7 minute drive to the Hershey attractions. It's on a fairly busy road, but on the corner with a side street that's quieter. Mike advised to back into the driveway to make exiting a little easier, and that was helpful. The house is super cute and the layout is interesting -- it's obviously been renovated over the years! Big kitchen and living room downstairs, along with a mudroom and a 3/4 bathroom laundry room combination. Upstairs, there are three nice sized bedrooms (the primary is really big!) and another full bathroom. Beds were comfy, and the house was quiet for sleeping (except for occasional traffic noise). Kitchen was well stocked, since we were only there two nights we didn't use much. But you could certainly do some decent cooking in there if you wanted to. Backyard featured a firepit, picnic table, and grill. Great place and I would stay there again!
