Our first wooden Yurt provides a lodging experience that combines nature with the comforts of home! Our Yurt comes equipped with everything from the basic necessities for a simple camping experience to luxury amenities. A yurt is much more than just another shelter in nature; it is a source of lifelong memories, a sense of romance and adventure. The Love Shack Yurt includes a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa, a romantic heart -shaped jacuzzi tub, private decks with a hot tub and a gas grill. Let us know if you are celebrating a special occasion like a birthday, honeymoon, or anniversary and we add a special surprise for you to enjoy!

The Love Shack is a unique structure that has been in existence for over 2500 years in Mongolia. It has a unique octagonal shaped that provides a restful, luxurious and relaxing experience only minutes from New River Gorge National Recreation area, stay in a fully featured log yurt.

What to bring: What you’re going to eat and what you’re going to wear, and all the rest is there for you.

What we provide: Linens and towels, fully equipped kitchen area, living room, TV, heating/cooling unit and other amenities like coffee, sugar, creamer, paper and cleaning products.

Choose from the many year-round outdoor attractions nearby, the New River Gorge Visitor's Center, go whitewater rafting on the New and Gauley Rivers with our activity partners Adventures on the Gorge, nearby Winterplace Ski Resort for great snow skiing and tubing. Boating or swimming at Summersville Lake, hiking, golf, horseback riding, ATV's, fishing and just a short drive away from many State and National parks.
