"First, when you walk in the hotel, the smell is so inviting and gives a welcoming feeling. Rick at the front desk is a real sweetie. We noticed several dogs in the lobby area and were concerned about staying in a room previously occupied by a dog, so we asked the front desk staff to ensure that we did not. They reassured us that animals are only allowed on the 2nd floor and we were given a room on the 6th floor. The cleaning staff on the 6th floor was very accommodating, even though they didn't speak English. Checking out was easy. The only issue was the self check-out store area was complicated. Some of the items did not scan in the register and the items were limited. I will stay again in the future."

"We fly into Miami to cruise and stay here every time. The people are great the condition is great and food is good. Now a view of the new soccer stadium across the canal Would recommend to stay at this hotel "

"Excellent location and helpful staff. First time staying in this hotel chain and have to say we were pleasantly surprised. Rooms are unique and you are able to control lights, blinds, and other amenities with an Ipad. There is a rooftop pool and bar. Had a pleasant stay before our cruise. "

"We were grateful for the room up grade with a beautiful wrap around view of the lagoon and downtown Miami. The service was awesome especially our bartender Rosen at the Blue Lagoon Saloon! Also Murad and Sam at the Herb'n Kitchen were great! The only negatives are: Water in the room was $8 a bottle, it should be complimentary, period! And parking was pricy. Other than that we enjoyed our stay!"
