Mixed feelings about our 2 week stay
Pros:location, parking, comfortable bed in bedroom area. Nice bathroom. Cons: air conditioner keeping us awake at night. It would make weird noises and drip water down the wall onto our stuff on the floor. We ended up not using it because of these issues. We were extremely frustrated that we were not told the unit right next door was under construction. The noise from the jackhammering, cutting, pounding etc was intolerable. It ruined a whole week of our vacation. They completely gutted and renovated the unit right next door during our vacation. The kitchen lacking basic necessities - oven mitts, wash cloths, dish towels etc. we ended up using our face cloths as dish cloths and our bath towels to dry dishes. And had difficulty getting hot food out of oven. The pull out bed for our children has a very thin uncomfortable mattress. I felt so sorry for our kids who slept on it. As an adult, I couldnât spend one night on it. Guests should be made aware the couch bed is for small children only. The lack of a dining table. We will not be staying in a unit without a dining table again. 4 people cannot eat comfortably on the island. The unit desperately needs shelves, or places to put stuff. When you walk in the door, where should guests put their keys, wallets, phones, hats, etc. there isnât a single shelf to put anything on. A simplebook shelf near the entry would help. Unit needs a place to hang dry clothes. We didnât find unit particularly clean.
