Beachy Isle of Palms Bungalow in A+ Condition!

This two bedroom/two bath home is located on the highly desirable Isle of Palms in Charleston, South Carolina. Isle of Palms is an island roughly 15 minutes from downtown Charleston and only a couple of minutes from Sullivans Island which is another award winning beach town. Isle of Palms is a fun, family friendly island which features restaurants, golf courses, tennis courts, shops, beach bars, a grocery store, and amazing views! Unless you want to go to downtown Charleston and explore, there is no reason to leave the island.
400 Palm is the quintessential beach bungalow featuring a fenced in backyard, screened in porch, outside shower, and two full bathrooms. Have all of the essentials you're used to at home including a gas grill, cookware, silverware, dishwasher, washer + dryer, internet, as well as comfortable furniture and two large beds (king and a queen). Each bedroom has a Roku TV that can be used with any of the streaming apps you have, the TV in the living room has basic cable.
No need to leave your furry family member at home as this house is pet friendly with a fenced in backyard.
We do have 4 beach chairs at this property available for your use.
-Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds.
*The building out back is just a shed.
Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide one bar of soap per bathroom, one small shampoo per bathroom, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel and hand towel per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels or chairs.

This is diamond in the rough! So close to the beach access and the access is fairly flat and easy to walk to the beach. The fenced in back yard and tile flooring throughout makes it very dog friendly. Something I always search for when looking for a rental. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and all that is needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and we really enjoyed the add on screened in porch. We will definitely rent again if traveling to IOP. Thank you for your hospitality.

We had a great week at Robert's place! It was our first visit to IOP and we were very happy with the location to Charleston and Mt. Pleasant. Robert's Bungalow is close enough to walk to the beach. We walked up the beach to the shops for morning coffee and bagels, etc... Our dogs loved the early morning play time in the water. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of closet space / dressers / etc. The kitchen is adequately stocked with various cooking supplies. There is a Keurig for pods or a standard coffee maker. We enjoyed making our own frozen cocktails with the blender. The screened in porch was wonderful to relax and listen to the rain on its tin roof. The back yard is fenced to keep your pups safe. There are several places to rinse off (us and the dogs) outside after being at the beach. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Great little place for pets

This home has an updated kitchen, had everything we needed during our stay. Nice size back yard for our doggies. Do not leave unattended they can escape around the gate;(. Owners were great with communications. Will definitely stay again when we're in Mt Pleasant

Great beach getaway

The house's proximity to the beach was absolutely perfect. Just a 4-minute walk down the sandy path and we were on the gorgeous Isle of Palms shoreline. One of the highlights was being within walking distance of some fantastic restaurants. We enjoyed fresh seafood at the waterfront spots, grabbed casual lunches without having to drive, and even discovered a few local gems we never would have found otherwise. Having great dining options so close made our evenings effortless and added to the vacation feel.The rental was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable beach week. The kitchen had all the essentials needed. The outdoor space was perfect for morning coffee and evening relaxation after long beach days. This house delivered exactly what we wanted: an easy, relaxing beach vacation where everything was within reach.

Exactly as described

This bungalow is exactly as described and shown in the photos. The furnishings are very basic, yet the house is comfortable and serves its purpose if bringing pets. The porch and backyard are perfect for fur babies. The walk to the beach is easy.

falls short of advertised A condition

AC works great, TVs are easy to set up streaming, good amount of space. Yard very overgrown and in dire need of maintenance. Yard was very buggy. I got eaten alive trying to walk my dog in the backyard. Needed to repeatedly apply off spray to try to protect myself. Queen bed mattress needs to be replaced- very soggy. Location is great and property manager is available. Floors don't look dirty but when I walked on them barefoot my feet got filthy. Overall unit needs some updating and better maintenance if they list it as A condition

Perfect Island Getaway!

We came to the Isle of Palms for a wedding, and our stay was just right. We walked to the beach a couple times and really enjoyed that. Our dog liked the backyard, and we loved the screened in back porch. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely try to stay in your place!

Enjoyable stay with the dogs. No issues and easy laid out instructions. The beach chairs there were quite aged but found 2 that worked. If you have a dog that likes to wander/escape, then know the fence goes up to a screened patio which could be pushed past. We had extended leash that worked well without any issues. The fence is otherwise solid all the way around. There were options to rent various conveniences for the island. This place definitely makes the short list for dog friendly options. The fees ended up costing more than the nightly rate for 2 nights but this is known before purchasing. There are basic supplies with hotel style soap and dishwasher stuff and a few towels but you will need to bring plenty with family and dogs. The mattresses were noisy and the air conditioner is outside the smaller bedroom which was noisy as well. Still, for the price and location, 4.5 stars rounded up.

Wonderful stay with 5 star service!

We arrived and needed some help getting the grill working. They came right over to help us and we really enjoyed our visit with Tyler who helped us with everything and gave us great recommendations for the area. The house was so cute. It’s only a few blocks from the beach so my teen could walk back and forth. We had a great time in the bungalow and it was really modern and clean’
