Isle of Palms Sea Cabin with beach view! Pool, fishing pier, and beach access.

A vacation paradise! Beautifully decorated and recent kitchen renovations combine to make this a relaxing and zen like coastal retreat. One bedroom, oceanfront condo on the second floor. This second story one bedroom Sea Cabin can sleep five with a queen bed in the bedroom, pull out sofa bed in the living room, and a built in youth bunk bed for kids in the hallway (full disclosure: these are youth bunk beds, which are skinnier than a twin, and I would not recommend children over 10 years old in them). The dimensions of the youth bunk bed are roughly 74"x25".
Private balcony with ocean, beach and pier views. Fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, full size stainless steel appliances and bright white cabinetry. We provide all linens and one bath towel per guest. Wall mounted flat screen TV in living room and bedroom. Private access to beach, fishing pier (you are allowed to fish off the pier but will need a South Carolina fishing license.), community beach front pool, and laundry facility round out this vacation condo.
Condo is 490sqft
*No washer/dryer inside of unit, only in the middle of complex which takes coins or an app on your phone.
We manage multiple other sea cabins so ask about booking more than one!
**This condo is an elevated building with no elevator. This is a 2nd floor condo.

2023 update: This sea cabin was just completely painted including doors and trim!

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide one bar of soap per bathroom, one small shampoo per bathroom, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel and hand towel per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels or chairs.

Clean with a great view

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was very clean, had a beautiful ocean view, and the management was excellent. My only complaint is that the chairs and sofa are very worn and uncomfortable. The bed was comfortable though, we would definitely stay here again.

The room served it’s purpose.

For the price, it was amazing. The location was perfect. The room was outdated and there was sand everywhere when we got there. I tried to clean it up but the little broom that was in the closet looked like it came from a Fisher Price play set. Definitely not somewhere I would stay for a full week.

Perfect for families with young kids!

We were so impressed with this unit's cleanliness and comfort level! Even the patio furniture was clean and well-made. The couch that others have mentioned in their reviews was perfectly comfortable to sit on, although we did not use it as a bed so cannot review that. We had an 8-year-old and a 5-year-old in the hallway bunks as well as their 2-year-old brother in a pack-and-play at the foot of the bed in the bedroom. That arrangement was tight but definitely doable for a handful of vacation days. This unit is definitely upgraded and much, much cleaner compared to other Sea Cabins we've seen. Plus, the proximity to everything can't be beat. The view from the patio is lovely, and the pool was great. I was a little concerned that being on the second level would be a hassle with young kids, but it wasn't an inconvenience for us at all. We definitely appreciated the responsiveness of our host as well. Overall, we were very thankful for our accommodations during our stay!

Beach trip

Great location. Clean and pretty colors decor. Balcony overlooking the beach was beautiful. Beach and pier right there. No life guard on beach. Close to nice restaurants and shopping. House had all of the amenities. Would have been helpful to know there were a lot of stairs to the second floor. Exterior floors could use some refreshing. Overall a wonderful place. Communication great!

We booked 3 nights, but ended up not sleeping there a single night due to suspected mold growing in multiple places as well as thick levels of dust throughout the unit. There were also stains on the bedding. When addressed with the property manager he was dismissive of our concerns. I do not recommend this VRBO.

Good stay

The Host was great, quick communication and very easy access to property w easy check in/out. The property how ever was ok w a few inconveniences... a few mild storms came thru early in our trip which easily floods the parking lot... for 3-4 days we had to walk in 6 inches of water to get to our vehicle or throw trash in the dumpster. The parking lot drains very poorly, so we had to take off shoes to walk to our vehicle due to flooded parking lot, also internet was down for 2 days(no way to watch tv in bedroom at night), and also the pool pump broke so we had to use the neighboring pool for 2 days. Property is in a great location but HOA does not keep up w things very well.

Amazing service

We arrived at the apartment and there was no a/c I communicated with Tyler who answered me immediately, he spent half day on a holiday with the technician solved the problem. He went above a beyond, definitely recommend, location is awesome and beach is beautiful.

Overall Nice Stay in IOP

The booking and check-in process was easy and a breeze. The owner communication was perfect. The location is great and is in walking distance to restaurants and shops. After looking at other Sea Cabin properties, this one appears to be in pretty good shape considering how old and dated other units are here. Unit had plenty of linens and bath towels. Master bed was very comfortable and pillows were too. The AC unit worked great in the room.The only improvements are listed below: 1. Room looks different from pictures (paint is different, some small appliances like coffee is different, and the room is not as updated in person as it appears on the pictures. Old fans, cheap curtain rod that kept falling, toilet struggled to flush, bathroom sink fixture barely hanging on. 2. Cleanliness was 3/5 stars. Needed more attention to detail on floors, fans, and baseboards. Saw several small roaches in the room on the trip as well. 3. Couch is dirty and old and we didn't feel comfortable sleeping on it. Used air mattresses instead. The couch really needs to go and is an eyesore in an otherwise nice unit.

Great getaway spot in IOP. Walking distance to plenty of great restaurants in the area. The property manager, Robert was really helpful and responsive during our stay. Grocery store and coffee spots close by. Could use a new couch, pool was great!
