Smart TV in living room and master bedroom. Ceramic tile flooring throughout condo. Laundry center for your added convenience. Well appointed kitchen. Wheelchair accessible and close proximity to pool and BBQ area. Free parking located right in front of the unit. Perfect place for your home away from home. All linens and towels are provided.


Welcome to Kuilima Estates, the condo property located on the grounds of world-renowned Turtle Bay. The condos are surrounded by two beautifully manicured golf courses and are the only condos on the North Shore. This is a great place to relax, rewind, and restore, and a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The condo property is a short walk to the hotel and to a lovely, sheltered, coved beach, where you can swim, snorkel, and surf. We have our pools, with lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and charcoal BBQ grills. Bring your own equipment and play tennis on our courts at no charge. Experience the comforts of home as you experience aloha!
Since we are in a tropical environment, it is common to see insects and geckos in the condos. No amount of spraying will completely eliminate insects, especially ants.

The location of this place, and the general area, are excellent. North Shore is so fun, having the hotel right there is great. The place itself is a little worn. Screens off hinges, loud A/C units, minimal amenities and rough beds. If you want value, I suppose this is it, but overall it came up a bit short for us.

Improvements needed

Check-in was difficult since the code to the gate was the wrong number. We notified the person on call but received an answer the next morning. We finally found a security person who helped let us in.We felt the living room should have more seating, the toilet seat on the main floor was cracked and the pots and pans need to be replaced. There were no kitchen necessities like salt and pepper or oil. Main floor bedroom had only one set of bath towels.

We stayed 11 nights in Jan 2025. Party of 5: 2 adults, 2 adult children & 1 teenager.The Pros:The condo was extremely clean.2 of the air conditioners worked well.Security was good.Nice & quiet.Internet worked good.Parking was a breeze.This entire property does not even have a smoking area - so no smelling those nasty cigarettes at all!! Located close to SHRIMP TRUCKS! When we reported a problem, it was addressed promptly.The Cons:The master bedroom mattress was so hard it was painful to sleep on. The second bedroom mattress was so soft you sink into it. Felt like Goldilocks!The second bedroom air conditioner did not work.The shower in the main bathroom had firehose type pressure, uncomfortable to use at all.There were no common spices, cooking oil or baking sheets in the kitchen.The dryer vents INSIDE the condo, so when you use the dryer the whole condo gets hot and humid.Be advised: there are no beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler or beach umbrella for guests to use. We purchased these items & gave them away when we left.Overall nice place & would stay here again.

Nice property, could use some updates

A very nice property in a beautiful part of the island. Very close to many beaches with beautiful sunsets. However, is not close to anything else, restaurants and shopping are all 15 to 30 minutes away and most island activities are more like an hour. If you leave after sunset, add another 30 minutes. The property could use some minor repairs. When we walked in, a screen was off the window, which I repaired myself. The screen door for the patio/lanai did not close properly, so it did not really keep the bugs out. The air conditioning consists of two window units that are very loud and are not allowed to be run all day long. Thankfully, there was always a decent breeze off the ocean that they were not needed, at least in late March. The hair dryer that was provided literally burst into flames in my wife's hand, but the property manager was very prompt in bringing a new one to the unit. I was a little concerded about that at first, because some of my earlier messages to them were not being returned, but they came through on the biggest complaint. My only other complaints would be that the unit did not seem sufficiently stocked to support 5 people, even to just start the week, knowing that it is not intended to last all week. Also, the unit seemed too sterile. It seems as though anythjng that a previous renter may have left was removed from the property. It isn't required, but usually people leave a few spices, but there was nothing. Overall, we had a good stay.

KEEP LOOKING, TRUST ME

Do NOT rent from this management company! We came to Turtle Bay for our daughter’s wedding. We rented 5 condos, only this one was from this management company. The unit was not clean. Had pee on the tile behind and on base of the master toilet. The unit had a urine smell. The toaster did not work and some lamps didn’t work (management took care of the toaster and the lamps, nothing else). Management acknowledged the urine issue but did nothing to fix or clean it. They charged us a fee for use of a pack n play. There were no beach toys or chairs. There is no A/C which is fine but the fans were covered in a sticky dust. The beds were springy and sagged in the middle. The bedding was old and dingy. The couch, which seats 3 uncomfortably is old and hard, same with the kitchen table. The water did not get hot in the showers. I asked to be switched to another unit. There were other units available but they refused to move us. All of the other units we rented had a pack n play, high chair, beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, mats. They all had nice beds, bedding, updated comfortable furniture. We left 2 days early and paid for a hotel room rather than stay any longer on those beds. We also paid more for this unit than for any of the others. They charged an exorbitant service fee (more than twice the other units) which covered nothing. I asked what it covered and they didn’t respond. I’m not sure why every review doesn’t say the same thing. We were highly disappointed.

Everything was just as described. The A/C is loud in the bedrooms but we left the doors and windows open to catch the trade winds. Only 2 days the trade winds shifted.
