99 Surfscoter Lane is a welcoming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom private vacation home in the popular West Beach neighborhood, just a 3 minute walk to the beach and a short bike ride to Kiawah Island's dining, shopping and family-friendly island activities. This spacious 1,500 sq ft Kiawah home is a great option for a single family looking to have more space and privacy than a villa affords.

Enjoy 2022 upgrades to the first level as you enter to a cozy living room with tile floors, vaulted ceilings and large windows offering loads of natural light, built-in cabinetry, a comfortable sofa and chairs and flat screen TV for entertainment. A new sliding door leads to an open deck with relaxing views of Cougar Point's 16th fairway. Adjacent to the deck on the west side of the house is a delightful screen porch with new seating and enlarged dining accommodations for six. The newly renovated kitchen and dining area offer excellent views of the fairway, and are connected with the living room by a new two-seat bar for optional dining / work space. The kitchen is well-equipped with stainless steel appliances and lots of counter space for preparing meals to enjoy in the expanded dining area with seating for 8.

This Kiawah golf course home comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom is located downstairs, just off the living area, and features a queen bed and comfortable sitting space. The master bathroom connects with the hall and includes a spacious walk-in tiled shower. The remaining two bedrooms are located on the second level and share a newly renovated full bath. One has a queen bed and the other includes two twin beds.

West Beach Village is located nearest to Kiawah Island's main gate and is situated around the Cougar Point Golf Course and Clubhouse. West Beach is Kiawah's oldest neighborhood with meandering boardwalks, mature maritime forests and a charming, Lowcountry island vibe. You're an easy walk to the beach, a bike ride away from Freshfields Village, The Sanctuary Hotel, Night Heron Park and Kiawah Island's world-class golf courses and tennis, and a short 40-minute drive to historic downtown Charleston.

Pool Access: Please note this property has NO resort pool access.

Beach Access: Beach access via Boardwalk 08. The owner provides beach chairs located in a tool shed on the front side of the house and there is an outside shower adjacent to the tool shed.

Please Note: The use of the fireplace is prohibited.

Pet Policy: This property does not allow pets.

Parking: There is parking for up to 3 cars.

Wonderful week on the beach

This is a great location to spend time on the beach with the family. Beach is less than a 10min walk via the bike trail. House was great! A very quite and peaceful area. Kids loved the board games and puzzles.

I've stayed on Kiawah quite a few times, so know how beautiful the island is. This house was in a nice location, quite and exactly what we expected. Had zero issues whatsoever and the host was very communicative. 5 stars.

Close to beach, great for families

This home was beautiful, updated and clean. We loved the view of the golf course and being so close to the beach. We had two small children with us and rented bikes, so getting to the beach was very quick and convenient. We enjoyed how organized everything was in the kitchen and all of the design choices in the main areas of the house. We did wish the downstairs bedroom had a larger bed, but overall the house was lovely and perfect for what we needed.

Perfect location, serene setting

We escaped to 99 Surfscooter with our young children (2 and 4) and in-laws. The home had enough communal space to encourage family time AND enough private rooms for the introverts of the bunch to re-charge. Very short walk to beach. Cannot wait to return!
