My spouse and I enjoyed our stay at the Campfire Cottage with our dog. The cottage was well designed and utilized its small space to the fullest. We also appreciated the gas fire pit outside. The location was great- there's an amazing dog friendly Italian restaurant within walking distance, a nice 9-hole golf course about 3 minute drive, and the Rondout Creek area of Kingston is about a 10 minute drive. If we find ourselves back in Kingston, we would definitely want to stay at the campfire cottage again.

The location was perfect—quiet, peaceful, and close to everything we wanted to do. The house was just as described: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We especially appreciated the cozy living room and the fully stocked kitchen, which made cooking meals a breeze. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we slept soundly every night. The host was also very responsive and provided us with helpful tips about the area. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Fantastic stay in the campfire cottage! Every detail was taken care of, from extra toothpaste (I always forget mine!) to the Nespresso machine. Cottage was very clean and cozy, communication was excellent. Would definitely return!

Week Long Stay

Matt has a great modern set up for 2 people to stay with simple but effortless accommodations. We loved our week long stay as Matt anticipated everything we could need. Ample towels, all the soap and toiletries one could need as well as a comfortable minimalist aesthetic. It was everything we could have asked for including a fire pit which we didn’t actually use but was a great addition to our stay should we want to. It overall all excellent stay!

Quiet and Classy

Sweet little cabin was just right for our weekend getaway. Location is convenient to many large chains and grocery stores. Short drives take you to scenic Hudson Valley neighborhoods and historic sites. Remarkably quiet for an in town location. Parking in allotted spot can be tight, street parking is available as well. Decor is great - shower is hot and has the large shower head. Comfortable cabin is classy with a chill vibe.

A Little Gem

Everything you will need and more!

Matt is a wonderful host! I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the 1 bedroom cabin and how much thought went into providing guests with everything they need. I stayed for four nights and was very comfortable. The bed was so comfortable I slept great. Kingston is a city so some noise is expected. The neighborhood is very quiet at night and you can hear a little noise occasionally in the distance. Matt provides an adjustable sound machine. I put it on low and slept like a baby. Matt is very responsive to all questions. I will definitely stay at this property again. Check out was easy. Turn out the lights, lock the door, and go. Easy peasy. Thank you Matt!

Beautiful comfortable cabin

My spouse and I stayed here with our dog which was great! We were able to take him for a walk and he loved the outdoor area! It was very comfortable and beautiful for a one stay. Everything was easy to access and we felt very safe and it was very home-like! We would stay there again and are even interested in the larger cabin for our next visit!

Birthday Weekend in Kingston

The cabin was exactly as described. Booked the cabin for a weekend getaway for my partners birthday. Everything in was a 10 minute drive away. Our host was excellent whenever we needed anything. Never hard to reach. Would recommend if getting away for a romantic weekend or just to getaway... Beautiful town with plenty to do. Can't wait to go back and would definitely do this cabin again

Little details that make a stay memorable.

My stay at this property was a good surprise. The modern and comfortable environment, coupled with the impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail, made it a truly great experience. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with additional surprises like a computer screen with keyboard, a Jenga game and welcoming waffle mix with syrup, truly made it feel like a home away from home.
