Unique Japanese experience, with a personal touch!
The minute we walked in into Fujiya Ryokan we immediately felt welcomed and relaxation commenced. Our host greeted us with a warm smile and some hot green tea. She even gave our 3 year old a little present on arrival too.
This was the first time we have stayed in a Ryokan and to be honest, we were a little apprehensive regarding the sleeping arrangements but found the beds to be ultra comfortable! Such an experience and one we would highly recommend for anyone visiting Kyoto.
Located only a 2 minute walk from Kyoto's main station, with two main shopping towers in between. Prior to the check-in time, we were allowed to leave our suitcases there.
Fujiya Ryokan is a wonderful example of Japanese hospitality and we cannot thank our host enough because our stay there was an absolute delight.
