Breakfast was great, the onsite onsen was a treat! The ammenties at the front deak where great and they jad cendinf machines and a massage chair on the first floor! Staff where wonderful and accomodating! I mentioned potentially wanting to forward my luggage and i was still decidinf but the staff later that day realised the cut off would be 5pm and so they personally called my room and advised me of this so I didnt miss the cut off! Thats next level service!

These were by far the MOST comfortable beds for our entire Japan stay. Super convenient location . Didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t speak to the food . Loved the free mini ice creams by the elevator. Was sad I couldn’t try the public baths because they said no tattoos, but I realize that’s probably like that a lot of places . I was so sore from walking so much I really would have loved to soak sf the end of the day though.

Room was cleaned and breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful, we were able to store our luggage in early morning before the 3pm check in. It was about 10 min walk from the Kyoto train station. We would stay here again next time in Kyoto.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Keihan Kyoto Hachijoguchi. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from Kyoto Station, making it easy to get around the city and explore nearby sights. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and all the little details—like the in-room air purifier, amenities, and thoughtful design—made it feel welcoming and relaxing. One of my favorite features was the large public bath, which was such a refreshing way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. The staff were outstanding—always polite, helpful, and attentive. Their warm hospitality really made a difference. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto. It offers excellent comfort, great facilities, and unbeatable convenience. I would happily stay here again!

The hotel included so many convenient amenities. We loved the on site bath. We also appreciated the availability of laundry and the rest area for us to wait for the laundry to finish. The free ice cream freezer was a nice bonus. The rooms were beautiful and we loved how cool it was compared to the hot weather outside. The site was clean and beautiful. Our favorite hotel in all of Japan!

Walking distance to the train station. Very clean and because we got a room for 3, we had a pretty big room. Shower room was separate from toilet room. Would come back to this hotel when given an opportunity.
