The Outrigger is a must stay! From the rooms, amenities, and food, we enjoyed every moment staying there. We will definitely be staying there next time we visit Kauai.

The staff was amazing. They are remodeling throughout, so there is some construction, but it did not impact my stay at all. The new lobby opened while we were there, and it is gorgeous. Great location as well.

Resort was great, 4-5 pools and a couple of hot tubs to choose from. Rooms are clean, there is some renovation being do r on the property so you will hear construction noise from time to time. Overall, we had a great experience.

It was good. Not what we got used in Turkish or Asian all inclusive 5 star hotels, but pretty good.

I didnā€™t like that you couldnā€™t swim in the ocean at the hotel, no laundry service, no shuttle available when flight came in. The staff was very friendly

My name is Manny and my wifeā€™s name is Lou. The Outrigger Resort and Spa is our favorite place to stay in Hawaii. We were there during Hurricane Lowell. Not our first time staying here. The staff took such great care of us during and after the hurricane. We had no power for two days and the resort provided us with three meals a day. We thought that was awesome because we heard other resorts/hotels did not offer that. We will always stay here when visiting Kauai. We are from California and we met friends there from Arizona. They loved the Outrigger. Shout out to our favorites Angel and Kit who work as porters/ valet . We had the pleasure of meeting them last year. Shout out also to Kaitlin who works at the Ocean restaurant. Just a kind young lady. Canā€™t wait to stay there again. ā¤ļøšŸŒŗ

Hotel is under renovation. The building 4 that I stayed very poorly maintained. The room outdated. The pool facilities were good. The lobby freshly renovated.

For a four star hotel... the pool in particular was run down. There are traffic cones around the pool deck, spots where the tiles in the pool are chipped, and the handrail into the hot tub is wobbly. On the bright side, the bed was super comfy, and I enjoyed doing the yoga on the beach that is included in the resort fee.

The rooms themselves were nice and roomy. Effective air conditioning and small bar fridge where appreciated. There was only one microwave for heating food on the third floor and an ice machine on the first floor. Self-parking was $30 per night, which I thought was fairly expensive considering it's in US dollars. Nice pools and a couple of hot tubs which were quite warm. As per many resorts felt that the food was somewhat overpriced and found it better to either bring food in from outside or reheat meals. There is a small Starbucks style shop in the gift shop as well as drinks and ice creams that can be purchased from here as well.

It was our first time to the Island. We were intrigued by the price. Significantly less than other resorts. Itā€™s centrally located allowing easy access to the north or south parts of the island. The front desk staff were amazing and very helpful. What we didnā€™t know was itā€™s on the rainy side of the island and itā€™s an older resort, however well maintained. Pools were excellent. Food and drinks at the pool were excellent. They only allow one pool towel per person. Thatā€™s stupid. You get what you pay for. If money is a factor, this is an excellent option.
