"Aspen Retreat" is a very fitting description for this beautiful mid size lodge where you will be greeted by towering Aspen Trees. This lodge is perfect for families or several couples looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Aspen Retreat is located on 60 beautiful acres of wooded land. The location is ideal, offering privacy and seclusion on a quiet country (paved) road and yet only 3.4 mile off US Route 33 (only 1 mile off S.R. 595). Approximately a 30 min drive to the many Caves, Trails and Rock Formations that has made Hocking Hills Famous! To further add to the appeal of this unique location, It is located within 10 miles from 7 Major Wayne National Forest Trail Heads and the Brass Ring Golf Course and Restaurant is located only 7.3 miles from your cabin door. So whether you wish to relax in front of the fireplace, sit around a campfire, take a hike through the 60 acre woods of the cabin property, play a round of golf or visit the many nearby state parks and attractions, Aspen Retreat is the perfect spot for it all.

Girls Trip

Communication to get to the location and the code to get in were easy to understand and timely. The property itself was very nice, just enough secluded to be considered private. The cleanliness was great, beds very comfortable, and with it being as cold as it was the cabin was very well insulated. The hot tub and jetted tub worked just fine. This was a great place to spend a week just relaxing with friends.

Fabulous!

We stayed here the week of Christmas in this cozy, well-appointed cabin. Beds were comfy, LR leather furniture appeared brand new, game room was a blast, and the hot tub was relaxing. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Bath towels were thick and thirsty, and the extra towels on the deck for the hot tub were so handy. Would stay again! Thanks Mike for making our stay so memorable!

Look no further!

My two friends and I stayed for two nights at the Aspen Retreat. After many weeks of researching cabins (which I love to do!) I chose this one based on the fact it had three bathrooms and three bedrooms enabling us to each have a floor to ourself! The cabin was immaculate and not a speck of dirt anywhere to be found! We were all impressed by how comfortable the beds were, along with the location being absolutely gorgeous! We wished we could have stayed there permanently! I have to also mention, we were a little nervous being three retired women staying in the woods, but we felt completely safe the entire time we stayed at Aspen Retreat! We also kayaked and ziplined during our visit! We will return! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful cabin!

Second year at this cabin great for couples each have their own bathroom,we always have a great time very private, pool table is our favorite, one down side always ten to drink alittle to much, lol!! Will be back next year!

Our stay (5 over 70 years of age cousins) was great. We might suggest motion sensor lights in some of the closets. Maybe some type of easy map on how to get out to Logan since Internet reception at the Aspen is limited. Overall a wonderful cabin and facilities are super.

Great weekend away with my sisters and cousin. Went to Old Man’s Cave and the Hocking Hills craft fair and just relaxed at the cabin. It was a beautiful cabin, great location!

1st Night attacked by black ants, not just a few but 28 of them. Jet tub in upper bedroom, no water to tub, handles just spin. Hit Tub on porch,, only 1 seat of Jets working. Contacted Owner, all he could say is " I was unaware" Refused a partial refund, and never offered anything towards at least a discount. onl
