Mayfair Centre 3-Bed 6-Guest Penthouse w/Patio & AC Berkeley Square

The two-floor penthouse with an outdoor patio is situated on the 3rd floor. There are 45 steps from the street level to the apartment door. There is no elevator.
Spacious and central yet secluded.
Located in the very centre of Mayfair in a house built in 1729, it is the earliest surviving house in this area. Modernised in 1821 by Thomas Cubitt, the builder of Buckingham Palace.

The main floor houses three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The large master bedroom has a UK King size bed, a walk-in closet, and a full private bathroom. The medium bedroom has a UK Double bed and built-in wardrobes. The small bedroom has a UK Double bed. There is a second full bathroom in the hallway.
14 steps take you to the upper floor. Here you will find an open space reception and dining room, a kitchen, and a large outdoor patio.

Decorated in a traditional English style.

Early Check-in: when possible, we can take your luggage earlier or offer you an earlier check-in. Please note, we will charge a flat ÂŁ50 fee for this, because it changes our normal schedule and our housekeeper needs to bring extra help in order to prepare the apartment faster.

Jacob was an exceptional host in every possible way. Constant clear communication and availability. The addition of coffee pods and necessities was much appreciated. If anything the apartment advertisement undersold the place. I stay in perhaps 70 hotel room nights a year and choose short term rentals very very rarely but this was a fantastic choice. Will be my first choice when I return to London.

First, the location is great. Walking to so many things and easy taxi and tube as well. Communication was great, beds were comfortable, the flat was clean and coffee was good. A couple things to be aware of. It has a shared entry where you need to walk up 4 flights of stairs to get to the bedroom level, and another flight to get to the kitchen/living area. The carpet in the shared space could use updating, and it's the first thing you see, but don't let that set a bad tone. The flat is decorated eclectically with nice furnishings, but not with, "American lazy boy" furniture. It's more British traditional and very nice. TV's worked well, AC worked well, as did the heat. Outdoor patio was nice, and there are more cushions in the closet. Overall we had a very nice stay, and would stay there again

Jacob and Thomasina were absolutely wonderful to work with. My family and I arrived in London, and they coordinated everything for our arrival through WhatsApp to check in. The home is beautiful, clean, has literally everything you need as your own home would, and is very, very convenient to everything you want to see. Everything in the home is as advertised, and the decor is immaculate. They made the staff very easy, even including all the items you need for a load of laundry in the middle of our visit. I highly recommend this home, to travelers who wish to stay in the Mayfair area of London. The patio in the evenings was wonderful with a glass of wine as it is out of the sun, but you still get a very nice cross breeze. I would also add that the home is very quiet. While there is air conditioning and it works, even in August we never actually turned it on and at night simply slept with the Windows open, enjoying that gentle breeze, as temperatures would drop to the upper 50s or low 60s (F). We never had noise issues and we slept wonderfully. My wife asked me to reiterate that the location is amazing and the home was immaculate, well outfitted for visitors, and the decor was very nice. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Mayfair.

Our family of four stayed here for three nights. Our sons (age 18 and 20) had spent the previous 4 nights sharing a hotel room and were excited to have a little more space. Our evenings were spent playing board games on the beautiful patio after hitting the neighborhood pubs/shopping. One major plus is the AIR CONDITIONING! The owner, Jacob, was wonderful. He assisted with restaurant recommendations and even popped by to assist with a minor water issue we had while there. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely book again.

Clean and well-equipped home with ample space - private rooftop patio is a nice feature. Excellent location within easy reach of many restaurants, pubs, parks, shops and other conveniences. The flat was exactly as described, check in went smoothly. 6 minute walk to bond street tube station (Elizabeth line) so travel from Heathrow was simple. 3 adults, one tween, perfect size flat for us. Great location, highly recommend.

Beautiful penthouse in fantastic location!

My family stayed for 6 nights in Jacob and Tomasina’s beautiful penthouse. This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in. The penthouse is historic and stunning with beautiful furniture and decorations and a lovely outdoor patio. It’s very comfortable with excellent central heating, comfortable beds, great showers and a washer/dryer. We loved hanging out in the beautiful living room and the three bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our family. Jacob is a wonderful host - very responsive and helpful. The location is incredible - we walked to Westminster, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, the London Eye - and it was close to two Tube stops. There are so many great cafes and restaurants within a few blocks. I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in London!

Loved the upstairs and patio! Great location!

The host was very kind to let us check in a few hours early as our train arrived before the posted check in timeframe. We had no issues during our stay that would warrant the need to communicate further, but felt like they would have been very helpful. While the stairs are narrow and steep, and difficult to haul luggage for our young family of four, the location and charm of this apartment was lovely. We especially enjoyed the upstairs kitchen, sitting area and outdoor space during our stay. I would recommend a few updates to the flooring (carpet) and understand with the age of the home it might be difficult to address the plumbing issues in the Master shower (however there is also a shower/ bath that functions well in the same bathroom). The beds were not as comfortable as we had hoped, but everything was very clean and tidy. Thank you for having us!

Great flat in London

The flat was wonderful for 4 women, a fabulous location, very comfortable with everything you could possibly need and two wonderful hosts. We were sorry we didn’t spend more time in the flat, but had lots to do and see in London. It is up a few flights of stairs, but Jacob greeted us and helped us by transporting our bags up. We were also given lots of helpful information about restaurants, grocery stores, etc, which we found very helpful. We loved staying in this home!

Everything is just as described. The location is great -- very close to Underground and lots of pubs/restaurants. Our vacation was perfect. The hosts were available if needed. We found thoughtful extras in every room. The location cannot be beat. Be warned that it’s on the 3rd floor and the stairs are steep. Also (if you aren’t used to it) operating a w/d combo machine isn’t as easy as it sounds!

Great family visit to London

Our annual family visit was to London this year and we were all so pleased with this rental in the heart of London! Perfect location to see the sights that we wanted to visit and easy access to transportation around the area. Lovely neighborhood with many dining options within walking distance. The apartment was absolutely perfect for us. Very clean, good accommodation and we especially liked the outdoor seating area. Owners very helpful and responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

Very nice property in an expensive neighborhood, Bellfare.

The property is in a great location with easy access to the usual London sites. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The only down side is the stairs, which are plentiful and steep, but to be expected when staying in a 18th century property. There were six of us and it fit like a favorite pair of gloves!
