Comfortably Quirky

The apartment is very clean and well appointed. Location is 5 minutes from Paddington station, so while not near the main sights, it was a quick Tube ride to wherever you want to go. This is NOT a 4 bedroom as described. It is 3 bedrooms. There is a sitting room with a pullout couch you walk through to get to the actual bedrooms. The sitting room is also where the only TV is located. On the plus side, there is a half bath off the sitting room that is not in the listing but was a nice surprise. The beds were all comfortable and the rooms have lots of storage. The kitchen /laundry are downstairs but unless you are cooking, there is really no need to ever be down there. Management company was very responsive and for a fee we were allowed to check in early since no one was in the apartment before us. There were no eating utensils or coffee in the apartment but hope that has been rectified after letting them know. Beware that they hold the security deposit for 2 weeks after you check out, which seems excessive and unnecessary.

Der var ikke meget luxury

I stedet for lejligheden i Paddington fik vi en anden nær Kings cross det fik vi dog at vide meget sent efter vi havde købt biletter og tilrettelagt vores tur efter vi skulle bo i Paddington. Vi kunne få lejligheden fra kl 15 men rengøringen var først færdig kl 17.30. Benene på samtlige spisebordsstole var løse og det ene toilet kunne ikke skylle ud - det blev dog lavet dagen efter. Der manglede en nøgle til terrassen, da vi bad om at få en nøgle fik vi at vide at det kunne ikke lade sig gøre da det var en tidliere lejer der havde taget den med hjem og endnu ikke havde afleveret den! (det synes jeg jo i grunden ikke er vores problem!!)
