Travelled with family and small children

The hotel was disappointing for its class. The reception and dining areas were nice, however the hallways have a seventies feel, with an orange and brown decor, which isn’t to our personal taste.
We were told at check in that there is no need to book a table for dinner, however on arrival we were told there was a 40 minutes wait, despite there being many spare tables. The menu is limited and expensive.
The room was reasonable, although there were some chips to the wooden floor. The bathroom was quite old fashioned and tired, with some of the purple coming away from the sliding door, the corners rusty and a chipped basin.
The hotel has a pool, which is a bonus, however unfortunately it is small and very cold. The changing room is also very small, with no private changing facilities. There were plenty of towels, however no dressing gowns or slippers provided.
The queue for breakfast was very long. The food choice was okay, but more limited than many other hotels of this class.
Overall, we wouldn’t return to this hotel.
