You'll enter your luxurious separate guest cottage through French Doors to a first floor inviting living space with a pillow-top California King bed, a separate sitting room with sleeper sofa, private full bathroom and a 43" UHD Roku TV.
You'll have a microwave as well as a mini-fridge stocked with water and a beverage station with a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee, tea and cream.

Your Elegant and Chic Beach Cottage, located in the most prestigious part of Santa Monica is waiting for you.
Enjoy ocean breezes and a quick 7 block stroll to the majestic Pacific Ocean view bluffs where you can walk along viewing the ocean and in 2 miles reach the famous Santa Monica Pier. Lively Montana Avenue is also just a short walk away with dozens of shops and restaurants for you to enjoy. Behind the guest house is the well-known Santa Monica Stairs which leads down to a short 1 block walk to the beach.

It is a lovely place and the owner is very gracious and clear. Parking is easy, shops. restaurants and beach are all walking distance, Bed is comfortable, little deck is lovely, it's private and clean and remarkably quiet for the location.

This is a cute, clean and very comfortable cottage space in a beautiful neighborhood, walking distance to the ocean. Parking is free and abundant on the street in front of the property. Shops and restaurants on nearby Montana Ave are fun to explore. We had easy and scenic drives to both Getty museums. The space was perfect for us two retired ladies on a girls trip, we spent hours on the private patio laughing and talking. Our charming host, Natalie, was fabulous, and very responsive to questions and requests. I highly recommend this lovely place, and would definitely book it again. The entry from the street is through a locked gate, we felt completely safe during our stay.

Natalie was a great communicator and a wonderful host! She welcomed us on arrival and ensured we knew everything about parking, getting inside and where to find basically everything you could possibly need during a stay. The guest house is lovely, comfortable and well equipped - even a raincoat and umbrella. The location is great for exploring Santa Monica, up the coast, the Getty, UCLA.... Lots of nearby dining options too. I definitely recommend staying here!

The location was fantastic. Beautiful morning walks to Ocean Avenue and an easy stroll to Montana Avenue for shops and restaurants. Loved sitting on the deck in the evening in what felt like our secret garden. Natalie is an excellent host and the "cottage by the sea" could not have been cleaner or more comfortable!

The host was absolutely amazing!! The host always checked in to see if we needed anything. The location is amazing, walking distance to the steps into Santa Monica Canyon, a beautiful neighborhood, the beach, the ocean cliff park and to Montana stores and restaurants. The bed was amazingly comfortable and I slept better there than at home. There is no street noise from San Vicente in case you are worried, it was soundproofed. We would definitely go back again.

Great weekend trip

We came to visit my dad who lives in LA but decided to stay in Santa Monica to be near the beach. Natalie (the owner) is wonderful and the location can’t be beat. We travelled with our adult son and although it’s a pretty small place, it was a perfect little get away location that had enough room for all of us. We will be back!

Perfect location and quiet stay

The rental was 30 minutes from almost all of our planned excursions, and very close to the Santa Monica Pier and Montana Avenue eateries. Natalie greeted me and my 11 year old child on arrival, settling us in to the very clean and quiet guest house. We used both the king bed and the twin pullout couch bed, and both were comfortable and cozy. I highly recommend making this your LA home base.

Quaint Cottage in Fantastic Location

This is a private room in the owner’s home that is completely separated and private. So if you’re looking for an entire house with a kitchen and living room, this may not be for you. But for us, this place was perfect! The location is one of the best in Santa Monica. The place is immaculate and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was terrific and there is a cute little sitting area to enjoy a glass of wine. The outside has a nice pleasant area to sit and enjoy the fresh air. The owner is so accommodating and easy to deal with. And the area was extremely safe and convenient to take walks through beautiful neighborhoods with gorgeous landscaping! It’s also a nice walk to the bluffs overlooking the ocean or even to the beach if you don’t mind a fairly steep walk back. There are so many excellent restaurants within a 10-20 minute walk. We will absolutely be back!

Cozy stay in a beautiful neighborhood inland from the beach.

We enjoyed walking the beautiful neighborhood to great restaurants on Montana street. We drove to the Santa Monica beach area and walked along the Palisades park and down to the beach. We had a delightful two days in Santa Monica. Thanks

Comfy, cozy room.

My daughter and I liked this place a lot. The bed was SO comfortable, its soft and luxurious and I was very well rested. The shower pressure is amazing. Parking was super simple and right out front. I walked over to the Santa Monica Stairs every morning and got some exercise in! We would definitely stay again. Super close to everything we wanted to explore in LA!

Great place in Santa Monica

Natalie was an awesome host with great communication from our initial contact to check out. The unit is comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed the private deck and yard area. It is an easy walk through a nice neighborhood to Montana Avenue or the park along Ocean Avenue.
