This property is in terrible need of updating. Most notable is the non-working air conditioner which labored to stay under 80 degrees during the current heat wave (permanent?) in August in LA area. Additionally - the base of the toilet in the bathroom leaked into the grout continually, the "ocean view" overlooks a parking lot, the pool area is directly adjacent to the parking lot, the light in the bathroom flickered when dimmed (strobe light style), the front desk was dismissive and unfriendly at check in, the towels were stained, and the bathtub was rusted and dirty around the drain (yikes to the "soaking" tub we were looking forward to. The property surge priced us on a thursday night in a manner that was incongruent with what was originally displayed on our booking - when we checked out after one night instead of 3 (almost double the price displayed at booking). The beach is not close, the amenities are poor. Bummer all around and very stressful and HOT. Steer clear.
