This room was not worth $95 a night. There was a filthy chair next to the stairwell that led to the second floor. (There is no elevator.) The walls were covered in something, there was visible dirt and hair on the duvets, not enough towels for all people in our party. We also found a note from the last guest that said âsorry about the messâ. The fan in the bathroom didnât work at all. Not sure how you can call it breakfastâthere were some yogurts and hostess items that were put away by 0930. Absolutely not worth what they charged me to stay there.
The hotel was your average hotel. It was clean and fine. I did have a problem with the housekeeping. They kept trying to come into our room, despite us telling them to come back later. Thankfully we used the latch to prevent the door from opening. There were several attempts when they tried to force the door open.
The hotel was clean in the entry way and hallways were kept up well. My room appeared clean but the comforter was white and when I unfolded it, there was dirt on it.
Normally a bed sheets are crisp, these were wrinkled, hopefully they were clean..eee...
After the first night I left a note with the desk clerk that the ONLY outlet by the ONLY mirror in the bathroom wasn't working, the sink drained slow and the Toilet seat was loose. They fixed the sink, but not the other two issues. It was hard to do my hair as I had to blow dry in the other room with no mirror, & had to plug my flat iron in the other room and bring it back to use with mirror before it cooled.
Room 107
This hotel doesn't look like much from the outside. Although it is older, it is very clean and seemingly well maintained. The staff was very friendly. Our family of 4 stopped here for one night on a long road trip with our dog. It was perfect for what we needed. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is that the A/C units in our room and in the hallway were not as cold as i would have preferred. To be fair, we never mentioned it to the staff, so perhaps they would have moved us.
Cattlemanâs restaurant is a mile away, several gas options. Hotel is aging but rooms have been renovated so theyâre modern. No hot breakfast, just cereal and bagels. Only issue is the train that comes thru several times a night and is LOUD.
