"The overall stay was enjoyable. Staff, hotel restaurant staff was amazing. House keeping was a different experience. Knocking on the door starting at 7:45am, again at 8:22am opening the door to peak in to see if we were in the room. Again at 9:30am letting themselves in to ask if we were checking out. Very uncomfortable and awkward situation knowing that the hotel check out time was 12pm noon. Made a complaint and spoke with front desk and the manager, Kody Kunkle. We were not the only guest this happen to, finding out this happened to another guest that was at the front desk to check out. I was in room 717 5.15-5.16.2025 and the other guest was in the 8th floor. This is an issue that needs to be addressed with house keeping. "

"The location was convenient for us as it is just off the Freeway. Made the commute faster. The hotel serves Continental breakfast included already in the hotel price. This was a plus for us. There many restaurants close to the hotel. You can just walk to the restaurant. The hotel is renovating the whole hotel. Our stay at the hotel was great. Would come back again if we are in the areas. Front desk staff were friendly. "

"I can't say enough good things about our stay at the Best Western Golden. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff made us feel incredibly welcome—some of the friendliest and most helpful people we’ve encountered at any hotel. There was a gentleman working the front desk who was visiting from another property the owners have, and he was absolutely fantastic. He offered so many helpful suggestions about the area and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The breakfast buffet was another highlight—plentiful, fresh, and perfect to start the day off right. The location is also ideal. It’s just minutes from downtown Golden and right off I-70, making it super convenient whether you’re heading into town or out for a mountain adventure. If you have a child attending the Colorado School of Mines, I highly recommend staying here. It’s also close to the local mall and several great restaurants and breweries, which makes it an even better choice for families or anyone visiting the area. We will definitely be staying here again!"
