My name is Tim and it is my pleasure to offer you a stay at my families beachside holiday house - it is our family's oasis. Family groups love our 3 Queen beds!

Bring the family as well as your friends to stay overnight at our charming, well appointed beach house. Set on 3/4 of an acre and abutting 65 acre Citation Reserve, you will relax as soon as you walk in and survey the views out over the reserve from the kitchen. The gorgeous balcony, shaded slightly by mottled leaves of the James Stirling and Silver Birch, has been the setting for many a summer's evening dinner party.

Walk to the beach down the Balcombe Creek estuary boardwalk.

A 20 minute stroll to Mt Martha shops and beach along the Balcombe Creek boardwalk is the best way to start anybody's day! If you need some exercise, or just some peace and solitude, the boardwalk is a wonderful place to walk and catchup with your thoughts, or just walk the dog away from the hustle and bustle!

You can listen to the birds on the deck at breakfast, or watch the kookaburra's on the balcony which wraps around the whole house.

Pets welcome, with prior permission.

The property has 3 Queen beds, all new or near new, 2 bunks for the kids, a spare single mattress for the kids friends, and a very large master bedroom. We have had many guests over 12+ years, and they have all commented on how peaceful our retreat is.

We had an amazing time! Tim made our stay so welcoming, with his messges apon arrival to our checkout. He was an absolute gentleman. The place was huge, upstairs was amazing, balcony had amazing vibes. Kitchen and lounge room was really spacious. The backyard is on another level for space but also so many thing you can do outside.Tim also let our golden retreivers join us as well, they had a blast too. Definitely would love to visit again. A Very Welcoming Getaway

The property was exactly what we were anticipating & more with access to Balcombe Reserve & the boardwalk running along Balcombe Creek to the beach. The balcony deck around the house was excellent & a great place to relax as the teens played badminton on the large lawn area below - we even dusted off the frisbee. The property was well maintained for its age & very comfortable. Tim was an exceptional host & responsive to a couple of our minor enquiries. The only drawback was our stay was too short at this awesome location. We will book again & can recommend all aspects of Tim's "Family Beachside Holiday House". Appreciated, Greg & crew

This stay property was very easy to book and communicate to the owner. Once arrive the check in process was easy and was clear instructions from the owner on how to proceed. Once inside it was very clean and well maintained and it was an excellent stay for our big group.

Sweeping greenery views

We loved our weekend at this spacious beach house! Tim was a thoughtful and attentive host. The setting is divine, with green views as far as the eye could see. We had breakfast and drinks/dinner on the large, wraparound verandah each day, marvelling at the quiet and birdsong. Access to the boardwalk/trail was a highlight for daily exercise and the short drive to the beach was ideal

A Retreat in Nature

The location is amazing adjacent to the Balcombe santuary and if you have dogs, this is a great place to be as there are many walks for them. The house however needs updating with the aircon not being available in the master bedroom upstairs making it diffcult to sleep on warm nights despite having fans.The host was well responsive to messages and this was reassuring that our needs would be catered to even before we arrived.

Private Oasis

A cosy home surrounded by an amazing treed vista. Walking tracks literally at your finger tips for both family and furry friends to enjoy. A very spacious home for everyone to find a place to relax and chill out. The kitchen was very well equipped for any dish that we wanted to cook up. The kids loved the boogie boards provided. It certainly made our days at the beach full of fun, so a big thanks.

Family Reunion

Very relaxing and comfortable home. Plenty of room for a family of 4-6 with a great yard to spend time in. Close proximity to great shops for food, wine and gifts. Mount Martha has always been a great destination to visit with much to see and do.

Everything you need for a relaxing break

Our intergenerational family group of 8 loved this large home with 4 bedrooms. Everything was clean and comfortable and the house was in a private, leafy setting within a few minutes drive of Mt Martha village. Our favourite activity was enjoying leisurely meals outside on the veranda, and exploring the area. Everything we needed for a relaxing break including board games and BBQs were included.

Returning home

My childhood was growing up in Mt Martha. So appreciated staying in this beautiful location to visit & care for elderly parents. We now live interstate & as all know has been difficult for families to connect. Very peaceful break

Stunning location, backing out onto a massive garden and the nature reserve beyond. Garden was perfect for the kids and either a family game of cricket or sitting on the veranda with a G&T watching them play - and a 5 minute drive down to the beach.

Relaxed bushland outlook

This home is located within pleasurable walking distance of the Mt Martha shops down a boardwalk adjacent to a creek. It is in a quiet location with a lovely bushland outlook. The home is well kitted out and clean. It is an older home so has a few creaky floorboards, but this in no way detracted from our enjoyment of it! It was great that our dogs could be with us there too. Everything worked well and our host was very easy to contact. Would happily stay here again.

A lovely private getaway to nature.

Tim as a property host was exceptional. His communication was excellent and was warm and welcoming and most helpful. The property itself was homely and attractive, with many thoughtful touches included, such as board games and an extensive dvd collection. Set in a beautiful and private location, we loved being able to experience the tranquility of nature all around us and the boardwalk behind the house was amazing, as was the master balcony. We were able to bring along our two dogs, who adored the spacious backyard and the location was the perfect setting for exploring the peninsula. Thanks Tim and family! 😊
