One direction along the river takes you to Brimbank Park through Essendon, Avondale Heights and Sunshine North. The other direction takes you into Melbourne CBD through Footscray Park and Dockland.
Macedon St is arguably the best street in Maribyrnong, with a magnificent streetscape. It's a quiet tree lined street some 300m from Highpoint Shopping Centre, Aquatic Centre and the Maribyrnong river.

Comfortable and cosy. Great views and access to river walks, park lands and major shopping centre with everything you need practically at the front doorstep (after a short walk up hill!) Undercover car park was available which was great so that our car wasn't parked on the street.
Kitchen was well appointed and having access to a bathroom for each room was appreciated.
The dining's room mismatch, heavy bulky, hard chairs made the place looks very ordinary. You could not sit on those chairs for more than 2 minutes. Also, the windows glass should be maintained unless inside. Sitting in the living room old sofa you can observed that there is some furniture stored under the main bed. Not good feeling! There is plenty of crockery, but all the chipped plates and cups should be disposed. It was not good value for money for me to have stayed in this place. Hotel in the city would have been better! I hope you made changes and not to disappoint another guess!
Lovely apartment, beautiful views, comfy beds. The main bedroom TV did not work, this was not an issue for us though. It is at the bottom of a steep hill, you have to climb 2 x 4 flights of stairs to get to the main road, however it is only a short walk to the Highpoint shopping centre in the other direction. This was a great apartment for the price, I recommend.
The place was nice unfortunately the communication was disappointing, wasnât able to get onto wifi and the link to their property guide did not work digitally and there was no physical copy so was unsure about property care rules or wifi passwords
The apartment was lovely once we got there. GPS couldnât find it tho as it was down a hill hidden and not next to the number it should be in the street so this should be explained. How to use fob to get in and use lift wernt explained. Hard to get hold of anyone to help. Took me 2.5hrs but finally got sorted. Lovely place tho
Great modern clean accommodation. Perfect for two couples with separate bathrooms and privacy. Beautiful views of the city lights at night. Recommend if you want to be in that location
