Welcome to the Cutest Cottage on Fourth – just a short stroll to the beach! The cutest newly renovated home just a short 350m stroll from the pristine Rosebud Foreshore. Perfectly positioned for families or friends, this spacious 2-bedroom property combines modern amenities with a relaxed coastal charm. Enjoy comfortable, stylish living with plenty of natural light and thoughtful touches throughout the home.

The property features an inviting lounge room with a flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The bright, open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, coffee machine, and all the cookware you need for home-cooked meals. French doors open onto a private outdoor area with a BBQ and small firepit, ideal for alfresco dining or enjoying a quiet morning coffee. The central bathroom offers both a shower and bath, providing convenience for families.

Located in the heart of Rosebud, you’re within walking distance of gorgeous cafes, family-friendly restaurants, shops, markets, and local parks. Explore the nearby wineries and restaurants of Red Hill, unwind at the Peninsula Hot Springs, or enjoy a round of golf on the Mornington Peninsula. Everything’s been designed with comfort and ease in mind — just arrive, settle in, and enjoy your stay in this charming coastal escape.

Please note that temporary fencing is in place on the right side of the property.

There is also construction at the neighbouring property, which may be noticeable at times during standard daytime hours.

Your booking is for the whole house. Shortly before your arrival date you will be provided with details on how to access the property. Linen, bath towels and starter amenities are provided and included in the price.

We welcome guests to book that are going to use the property respectfully. We have a very strict no party policy at the house, which means no loud music day or night and at 11pm we ask you to move inside with no noise to the neighbours. We love our neighbours and want to look after them.

Sorry no bucks and absolutely no schoolies bookings of any kind, not even quiet ones. Hens parties by application only. Please message through your plans and we will come back to you promptly.

Well behaved pet welcome but not on furniture or beds and all traces of pet need to be cleaned up prior to departure. Extra charges apply if this is not done. Please note the yard is not completely enclosed and pets will need tobe supervised

Short beach stay

The Rosebud cottage was cosy and had all needed amenities and more. Close to the shops and places to eat out. We would definitely stay again. Only thing to point out is there is no dryer or dishwasher which are mentioned in the listing, but that is no biggie.

Rosebud stay

The property is in a fabulous position, 600m from the beach.It was hreat to be able to have pur pooch there. One priblem is that there is no way to get a wet, sandy dog from the front to the back without going through the house. A si.ple side gaye wpuld have been great. With a main nedroom facing East, id be putting in blockout drapes as well as the existing. Being woken up at sparrows when wanting a sleep in isnt ideal.

NICE Place!

We enjoyed staying at the cutest cottage; quite central and close to the shops and restaurants and pier. Although it was a bit cramped in the second bedroom because of our clothings and stuff (no wardrobe to hang and place them in), and only while there did we realise that a central bathroom (powder room/toilet/sink, shower head above the bath tub, all in just one place) could be a little struggle for us 3 adults and 2 elderlies; and as there was only a small glass screen to keep the water spraying/splashing from the shower (water was all over the tiled floor) not very safe for elderly folks with physical limitations—but altogether, we adjusted and were settling in well. We appreciate how the essentials were all there for our use and the whole place was warm and cozy—just the way we wanted. We enjoyed our nights there watching movies and/or played board games! Family beach holiday

Clean, well equipped home, fairly easy walk to beach and Aldi shops. Lots of cafes nearby and fast food for easy meals. Loved the added bookself with books & board games for the whole family.

Great Location, Great House

The house is more spacious than it looks in the photos. It ticked ever box for us, nice little garden, games for the kids, great WIF conection and a Smart TV in the Living room. The beds where extremely comfortable and the linen was vey lux, both much better quality than any other beach rental we have stayed in. The Location is fantastic you can walk to everything and there is access to the beach right at the end of the road.

Tidy retreat

This property had all the ‘bits and pieces’ you want in a holiday home from a small varied selection of books and games, to pots and pans, cutlery/serve ware. Shower panel in the bath was a bit short so water spilled over onto the floor. Towels and bath mat were provided along with bed linen. The cooktop was slow to heat food, so the whole process was lengthy, however did the job in the end. Tuned into Netflix in the evenings, a nice surprise as I don’t recall this being mentioned in the ad. Just a short walk from the shoreline with a large playground so the youngest is entertained too. Not a huge offering of cafes in the area, however shops like coles, woolies Aldi , Kmart, target all within a 5 minute walk. The neighbourhood was quiet enough with the exception of a few squawking birds in the evening. Overall good experience and would definitely stay here again.
