The overall experience is great. Minutes walk away from Southern Cross station with great cafes nearby. Easy walk to CBD and trams. The facilities are good, pool is heated. Room is clean and bathroom has a lot of storage. Fridge is actually cold. Only disappointment is that the coffee machine is broken (id expect all the amenities to work with the reputation and price of the hyatt centric hotels).

High style in Melbourne

The Hyatt Centric Melbourne is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. It has a great sense of design In every detail. In every detail Langford's, The rooftop restaurant, is gorgeous and has delicious food. The staff are courteous and kind. As a lap swimmer, I loved the 25 m pool! And this hotel is incredibly convenient for transportation, just a short walk from the sky bus and the the Southern Cross railway station.
