Room was comfortable but dark Natural light was limited as window faced concrete wall of building next door. Dark Curtains didn't help. But facilities in room were good. Bed very comfortable. Parking good. Staff very friendly Restaraunt understaffed when I was there. Good took 40 mins to arrive. Poor guy did exceptional work to keep us informed and food served.

I really enjoyed my two night stay here. It's close to public transport, and not far into the CBD and arts precinct. The room was beautifully appointed, with a large comfortable king-sized bed. I had a wonderful sleep both nights. The convenience of a stove top, microwave, fridge, and even dishwasher drawer and coffee machine made my stay easy. I saved on eating out by preparing some basic meals in the room. The room was spacious, with a desk, lounge chair, and table and chairs. The view out to St Kilda Road was lovely. I did hear a little traffic, but once I was asleep I wasn't disturbed. My neighbours on the first night had been partying at the Melbourne Cup and were noisy and smoked on the adjoining balcony, but that wasn't the fault of the Hotel. When I reported it to the reception they were very helpful. Staff were friendly and efficient. And it was nice to be able to order room service on the second night when I felt like a bowl of chips. The chips were delish. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

I could not understand why I was in a wheelchair accessible room, otherwise all was good. The breakfast and dining area Tuesday morning was not very nice. I understand it was a public holiday, but not one clean table at 8.30in the morning, lumpy milk and my eggs were green.

This was a 3-star hotel, not a 4-star hotel as advertised. Had some maintenance issues in the room. One day there was a power failure from lunchtime until the following morning. I complained and they got my room fixed in the evening, but I saw a generator in the hall the next morning, powering some of the rooms. Restaurant didn't have many choices. No place to sit in the lobby.
