Bad door lock

Very average stay. As a young, female solo traveler I was a little off put by the door’s lock (Room 101). It was not centered correctly so it could have easily not worked. Other than that room was clean and spacious.

The room was very clean and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel is a very short distance from many activities (Riverbend Music Center, Cincinnati, antique shops, etc.) The only complaint I have probably seems insignificant but I do dislike that the bathrooms don’t have a working exhaust fan. The mirror fogs up easily after showers due to this.

Bathtub, sinks, and jetted tub were dirty. Had to buy bleach cleaner before we could use it. Our second night there the room next to us the couple screamed and argued all night. Nothing was done about it.

I don’t recommend

The window was leaking because it was raining outside. Hotel didn’t seem updated or even well maintained. The amount they charge for the room was very poor for the condition of the property.

Coffee kureg taken out of the rooms. Had to ask front desk for one to be placed in room. Toilet seat broken upon arrival and called desk to repair. Was replaced immediately. New coffee machine in breakfast bar terrible.

It wasn’t the worst… Let’s just say $325.00 for a two night stay that you end up wondering if they have even cleaned the place in the last five-ten years and the strong odor of older gentleman’s cologne lingers the whole time I was are there- it doesn’t really fit the bill. While I looked forward to the complimentary breakfast, hoping it might make up for the lack luster (and really not clean) room, there wasn’t much offered and the few things that were offered were mediocre at best, sorry to say so. The much needed get away and two night break from my two year old twins was met with loud screaming and pounding on doors by a group of young kids and then loud parents - I’m glad they were having fun! Just hard for those trying to get some much needed sleep at 10:30-11 at night! Stale goldfish for sale, later noticed they were expired…jeepers people.

Room was quiet and comfortable, the last day of our 3 day stay there was a centipede that was on the shower curtain. After I saw the little guy I jumped into action, put on my exterminator clothes and took care of our unwanted guest . When checking out I reported it to the front desk and was told that happens frequently when the air conditioning units were running. I wasn’t very impressed with management’s response. Other than that, the room was quiet, clean and comfortable

Stayed for 3 days for a family thing. There is a Roosters and a Bob Evans practically just outside. There are other option close by- chick-fil-a and Chipotle. Breakfast was very good. bed really comfy and staff really nice. Used the pool, nice.

Very quick check-in (numerous other hotels could learn from this place), good sized room, alarm clock with the good red digits (vs. White or green that cash shadows), nice laundry facilities, except for no large surface for folding clothes, quiet inside hotel but highway noise went all night, thank goodness for HVAC with the constant fan option to drown out some of the highway noise. Good amenities in the room.
