The AmperVilla, a stylish, privately owned country house with just 40 rooms just outside Munich, is committed to the tradition of English and French country house culture in the best sense of the word, but with the professionalism and service of a first-class hotel. This includes the perfect symbiosis between gastronomy and hospitality:

The afternoon coffee tastes best in the garden or on one of our sun terraces. Sauna jaunts, sunbathing in the beach chair. Nap in mountain herb hay bed. A walk in the Amperauen - so goes "Soul Dangling"!

The evening restaurant Grethe pampers you with seasonal country kitchen - guaranteed without any convenience. The raw ingredients come as far as possible from regional producers.

The nightcap can be enjoyed in the Alfred Bar or in the library, in the most cozy and popular room in the house. Everyone meets here: house guests, restaurant guests, visiting visitors. Open at any time and almost around the clock, there is everything that keeps body and soul together: caring hosts, food & drink, peace or just a good conversation.

Almost as good as the AmperVilla itself is the connection to many of Munich's hotspots: Munich Airport can be reached in just 12 minutes, and the city itself in the same journey time. The access roads to the A9 and A92 motorways are just a few minutes away. But also the Therme Erding, the Allianz Arena, Schloss Oberschleißheim or Weihenstephan are right on the doorstep. You can reach the royal palaces and the Bavarian foothills within an hour's drive.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Tolle Lage. Sehr gute Küche. Wir hätten uns nur gewünscht das unsere Anfrage ob wir 3 Hunde mitbringen dürfen auch beantwortet worden wäre und nicht das wir vor vollendete Tatsachen gestellt werden bzgl. Rechnungsbetrag für die Hundeäbernachtugen. Ansonsten absolut zu empfehlen für einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Immer wieder gerne.

Great place, farther from city than expected but okay

The place itself is great! Breakfast included and a bar and dining room you can pay to indulge at for other meals. This would be a great place to stay if you have a rental car or your own vehicle. We depended on public transportation for our trip and had to Uber from the nearest train station which was only 4km and 10€ but still not as convenient as we had hoped. It is further than 12 minutes from the city!! It is probably 12 minutes to the outer city including the nearest train station. It would take us close to an hour to get to the central train station using Uber and the S-Bahn. Otherwise, everything was great. Only complaint about the place itself was that our room got an awful wi-fi connection and we had to go downstairs just to get a useable connection.
